I was a wreck I was very close to her and was as distraught at her loss that I was completely incoherent to what was going on around me. I boarded the plane to take my seat with my wife in the seat next to me. Along come the Flight attendant and tells my wife that she is being bumped but I am not. She refuses vigorously and wins the argument. the next that come up is the snack and drink with the option of buying head phones for the movie. Keep in mind that I am crying this entire time. my wife buys me a drink " not normal nether one of us are drinkers but she had never seen her husband falling apart like this" she purchased the drink. and asked if i could get a set of head phones I think they where like $2:00 for both and she offers the change. pulse some she had in her purse.
