      <description>&#160;I love to cruise. I have been on 11 cruises and 5 different cruise lines. Holland America's ship the Westerdam is one of their best. All of the Holland ships rate 5 stars in&#160;dining, but I believe the Westerdam served some of the finest meals from Breakfast and lunch on the Lido deck to dinner in the main dining room. We ate at the second sitting for dinner&#160; 6:15 P.M.which was perfect, not to early 500P.M. or not to late at 8:30 P.M. This allowed us plenty of time to partake in all the ship's activities. The Westerdam entertainment was 1st class. The singer Althea James was fantastic. The entertainers from the ship were also above average in singing and dancing, everything from Gershwin to Elvis. I love the excitment of a casino. The Westerdam's casino and staff left abit to be desired. The dealers didn't have much in the way of conversation, which can make a boring table. The casino which is usually packed after the shows seemed to be able to muster only a small crowd. The casino closed...... </description>
