The hospital used these also. The diaper can contain a great amount of liquid. I was greatly impressed. We only had leakage when a long awaited poop came along. I guess nothing could contain those! But joking aside I believe that you could pour a cup of water in one of these diapers and it would absorb it all. I will keep using the product and recommend it to everyone with a new little one.... I did like the product but felt that I could have done the same cleaning with the items I already had in the house. It was not the magical item I thought it would be. Plus its just another expense. I normally don't buy the more expensive stuff but had a coupon. They ate it up! Sometimes Shadow is picky and will not eat certain dog foods so if your dog is picky he/she may like this one. They both maintain a good weight while eating it also. They did not loose or gain to much....
