lsmahutchin says "Love these diaper covers" about Mother-ease air-flow snaps

While these covers are a bit more expensive that others available, we've found that nothing beats them for helping keep the boys' clothes dry. With twins, the covers get a LOT of use and haven't broken down yet. We've tried eight other brands of diaper covers and nothing matches the ease of these. There's no velcro to stick together in the washer or scratch the boys' tender skin. They're adjustable, so they last/fit a lot longer. Also, our 13-month old twins, who have figured out how to open velcro, have not figured out how to open the snaps. This guarantees that, at least for now, the diapers stay on even when it's the only thing they're wearing. These covers even gotten us through a bout of the flu with very little leakage.

The boys' skin doesn't do well when we have to put them in disposable diapers. We started to wonder if cloth diapers were do-able when each brand of cover either failed or started to cause other problems. I love how well the boys' skin stays healthy with cloth diapers...
...

lsmahutchin says "great little people set" about Fisher Price Little People Noah's Ark

Our 13-month-old twins got this along with the barn for Christmas. They love to carry the little people/animals around as they are the perfect size for their little hands. The ark comes with a great variety of animals and has several more add-on animal sets available. The ark itself is a favorite toy of one of the twins. He spends lot of time investigating it, wearing it, carrying it....

lsmahutchin says "a favorite of my twins" about Fisher-Price Little People Animal Sounds Barn

My 13-month old twins got this toy for Christmas. They love carrying the little people/animals around as they are the perfect size for their little hands. The also love to manipulate the movable barn parts, especially the parts that make noise. We also like it because of easy clean-up - we store all the characters in the silo....

lsmahutchin says "highly convenient" about Safety First Safety 1st Lift and Lock Gate

This gate works great for us - helping us keep our twins safe. The gate is easy to open and close - easy enough to do with one hand. The gate withstands the weight of two toddlers pushing on it without budging - and without tearing up the door frame. We liked it so well, we bought a second to replace another gate we were trying out....

lsmahutchin says "musical fun" about Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Toolbench

We found this toy on a clearance rack and bought it on a whim. It has turned out to be one of the boys' favorite toys. They love the music and like to manipulate the pot to make it sing. They also play with all of the pieces (the only toy they do this with). They're not quite old enough for the shape sorting, but will hopefully play with that portion too when they're older. They both love the lid - though we're not sure why? The best part is that there are enough pieces that they can both play with it at the same time....

lsmahutchin says "good for big guys!" about Bright Starts Musical Melodies Baby Bouncer

We loved this chair! Our twins both took turns using it. One of them was a very fussy baby that required a lot of stimulation - so the music and vibration were a must. Our other twin is a very big guy - this chair was one of the biggest we could find. It held him well until he was old enough to sit up on his own. The chair was very sturdy. The cloth held up well to washings. For the amount of time we used the music and vibration, it didn't eat many batteries....

We love the ball-popper. The boys quickly learned how to start it up and now play with it often. The dog even joins in and steals a ball when he can. It's my job to keep the balls collected, which leaves us all laughing! This is not a toy for the parent who doesn't like to play! You'll spend most of your time retrieving balls......

lsmahutchin says "good for walkers" about Fisher-Price Fisherprice Stridetoride Lion

We bought this for our boys who were just beginning to pull up. The lion was far too light weight and moved much more quickly than the boys. For now, we use it only as a ride-on toy and push them around the living room. They love to play with the felt mane and push the lion's nose to make the music play. They'll need to be steady walkers before they can use it as a walking toy....

lsmahutchin says "worth every penny" about Robeez Bear Soft Soled Leather Shoes

I LOVE these shoes. We were having trouble keeping socks and shoes on the twins' feet. This didn't matter in the summer, but when the weather started to turn cold, we knew we needed to find something that had staying power. Another mom pointed us to Robeez. Only one of the boys has been able to get one of these off - and only one time. In addition to keeping them warm, we're also able to keep their feet protected as they're learning to walk....

lsmahutchin says "great baby toy" about Playskool Tummy Time Together Gym

One of our twins screamed when we made him do tummy time. He got hooked on this toy by laying under it. As soon as he could reach the hanging paddles and figured out how to work it, it would also keep his interest while he was on his tummy. Both he and his brother loved the middle pull-down "paddle". They often played under it together. While the tunes did tend to get stuck in my head, none of them was too annoying or made me want to turn it off....

lsmahutchin says "worth the money" about Highland 10391 Kar Pak Waterproof Soft-Sided Car Top Carrier

This carrier was exactly what we needed for a trip to my parents' for Thanksgiving. We can't afford a larger car, but with 10-month-old twins and a dog, we were more than cramped for space. We stowed the twins traveling cribs, a large suitcase, two rubbermaid tubs, and a baby gate in this carrier. We had to unload/load for hotel stays along the way and had no problems setting it up each time. Our only complaint would be some slight "singing" by the straps a couple times during the trip. We used it on a Jeep Liberty...
