lovetobikemom says "I have read the entire series and can't wait for the next book" about One for the Money

The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich are some of my absolute favorite books to read. I have read the entire series plus the "between the numbers" books as well. They are highly entertaining and funny. I love the characters and how easily it is to relate to the main character, Stephanie.

The books center around the life of Stephanie who is a bounty hunter. Need I say more? Her family is hilarious as is her love-life. Everything works together well and each book fits nicely into the series but they can hold their own if you do not read them in order.

The pace of each novel is quick and lively. Granted, these books are not going to be used in a college seminar any time soon, but at the end of a long day, I would rather relax with a fun book than something that required a lot of cerebral gymnastics. I consider these books "brain candy."

I have recommended these books to a lot of my girlfriends and they have also enjoyed them as much as I have.
...

lovetobikemom says "Ice cream is super easy to make with this machine." about Cuisinart Frozen Yogurt, Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker

The Cusinart brand is one I really trust so when I was given this machine as a gift, I knew it would be fun. The Cusinart Frozen Yogurt, Ice Cream and Sorbet maker is very simple to use. You pre-freeze the bowl, mix your ingredients and let the machine do the work. The recipe book (included) was super helpful and after you try making one of their suggestions, it is very fun to make up new creations. My kids like to help and they get so excited to eat homemade ice-cream. I like that I can control the ingredients and make healthier alternatives like frozen yogurts and sorbets. If you like to entertain, it is very impressive to bring out a selection of homemade desserts for your guests. The only drawback is that you can only make one flavor at a time and that the freezer bowl takes overnight to prepare. I recommend buying an extra bowl so you can use one and always have another ready to go.
...

lovetobikemom says "A must have for moms who have kids with allergies." about Zyrtec Children's Allergy Syrup

Zyrtec Allergy for children is a decent over-the-counter allergy medication. Both of my children suffer from seasonal allergies and this year is no different. I give each child a dose of Zyrtec at bedtime. They both like the grape flavor and actually enjoy taking the medicine. In fact, I have to be very careful that the three year old does not try to get more than his allotted dose. (He likes the flavor that much.) Zyrtec seems to help with the runny nose, congestion and sneezing better than other over the counter medications. It does tend to make them more drowsy even thought the label says it is non-drowsy formula. That is why I give it to them at bedtime. It does seem to take a good week before the medication kicks in so it is a good idea to start taking it before allergy season starts. I have not noticed that this medicine alters behavior. It does not get them more wound up or irritable.
...

lovetobikemom says "A fantastic company with great service. " about AMICA

Insurance is one of those things you have to buy and hope you never have to use. Amica really came through for me and my family several years ago. I was in a terrible car accident. To make matters worse, I was at fault. I was so concerned that the our insurance company was going to give us a difficult time paying for repair to our vehicle, the other vehicle and the property that was damaged. Amica really saved us. Not only did they put our minds at ease, our agent was so kind and concerned that our family was okay. They paid our claims quickly and without any hassle what-so-ever. They even recommended that I buy new carseats for the children and those were also paid by insurance. The other driver was reimbursed and all property was restored to its original state. I was so grateful to Amica and our agent for helping us through such a difficult time. Perhaps they are not the cheapest insurance out there, but they are worth every penny for their fantastic service.
...

lovetobikemom says "My favorite hand held appliance." about Braun 300 Watt Immersion

The Braun 300 Watt Immersion Blender is an indispensable kitchen tool. I keep discovering more and more uses for it. It is powerful, versatile and super-easy to clean. I was given this as a gift several years ago and it is still going strong. It comes with a large metal cup that I use to make fruit and yogurt smoothies. It also comes with a wisk attachment that is fantastic for whipping egg whites, whipping cream and salad dressings. My favortie use for it is making soup. Before I had this tool, I would have to use either my food processor or traditional stand blender to make the types of soup I like. This was not only messy, but very time consuming as I would have to wait for the hot soup to cool before blending. Now, I can take the immersion blender directly into the pot, blend my soup and be ready to eat in minutes. Cleaning is a breeze since the blade is waterproof. I can stick it into the dishwasher or simply rinse it and let dry. This is a must have kitchen tool!...
...

lovetobikemom says "This dual day/night cream has literally erased 10 years!" about Avon ANEW ULTIMATE Contouring Eye System

I love Avon's Anew Ultimate Contouring Eye System. It literally has erased years off of my eye area. I have been fighting the aging process for about ten years now. I am a fair skinned gal who prefers not to wear make up, thus I need to keep my skin in great shape. My eye area has really shown some serious aging since I had my first baby six years ago. I noticed a lot of fine lines and the start of the dreaded Crow's Feet. I have been using this product for a little over a month now and I am very happy with the results. The system is actually two products in one. There is a cream and night time serum in the same container. It takes me less than one minute per day to use the system. They both are absorbed quickly and leave my skin feeling smooth. There are no harsh scents or irritants to bother my sensitive skin. The cost of the product is about $40 and I ordered it on-line so I did not use an Avon representative.
...
