Fri, 16 Nov 2007 09:41:52 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Wellness-cat-food-review-024e0 louise 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Ferret-review-47420 ferrets are a high maintenance pet that is the third most popular pet in the world.  the key to understanding ferrets is EDUCATION.  anyone interested in ferrets should buy a book and read it before adopting a ferret from a shelter or purchasing one from a pet store.  i would also see if there is a ferret shelter close by and volunteer there.  i recommend adopting from a shelter because the shelter knows each ferrets personality:  biter, nippy, blind, deaf, likes kids, gets along with other animals etc.  there are genetic problems with different colorings of ferrets, and a shelter would be able to recognize these.  there are many health problems that a ferret can have, some inexpensive to treat, others expensive.  i highly recommend adopting from a shelter since the ferret would be litter box trained already, and any "bad" habits usually have been broken, or at least minimized.... Fri, 16 Nov 2007 09:28:03 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Ferret-review-47420 louise 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Lafeber-Avi-Cakes-review-e76e0 this treat was a life saver for the cockatiel that i "inherited" when his owners ended up in a nursing home.  the bird was sick, had only been fed seed food, and the vet said he needed to be converted to a pellet and seed mix.  i was able to hold this treat in one hand, the bird in the other and get him to "attack" this treat.  one week later, the vet was amazed that he was eating pellets.  he said that was the fastest conversion he had ever seen, and i am grateful that the vet tech recommended this product....
