      <description>&lt;p&gt;Auto Club has been the auto insurance provider in our family for 55 years. In this area I feel they excel. Auto Club offices run smoothly and efficiently, with friendly employees who are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Not a single complaint on the auto insurance, including their rates.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As for our homeowners insurance, I'm not as convinced. Although we've only had it about 7 years, we've had occasion to file a claim 3 times. The first time was a simple matter and handled efficiently and to our satisfaction. The second time, our claim was denied for a burst sewer line under our front yard lawn. I was told no homeowners policy would cover plumbing fixes --- especially outside of the dwelling. Third instance was renovation from flood damage that fell into the hands of a contractor chosen by the Auto Club, who had issues which kept him from completing the work for ELEVEN MONTHS, and not until we raised holy hell! I feel Auto Club should have found a way to resolve this ongoing...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
