llamafett says "Excellent weeder and small area soil turner." about Faultless Garden Claw

I had seen the ads for the Garden Claw for years and been interested in trying it, but had never bought it. I happened to get a great deal on one that was being clearanced at Target. I have a side yard that has been weeds and hardpan since I moved into my house a few years ago and I decided it was finally time to attack it.
After killing most of the weeds with Roundup, I attacked the remainders and the hard packed clay soil. The Garden Claw ripped out the roots and easily churned up the soil. It prepared a great surface for me to plant grass seed.
The one drawback was I used this over a large area and wore myself out by the end. If you are looking to churn the soil over a significant area I would suggest renting a rototiller.
...

llamafett says "They'll light your yard, but don't expect great performance." about Malibu 20-Piece Low-Voltage Outdoor Lighting Kit

I purchased this kit looking for a quick solution to lighting my dim backyard. I have solar lights in my front yard, but noticed they are very dim if used in my shady backyard. Low-voltage lighting is definetely the way to go for shady areas.
These lights require assembly, so plan to spend an hour putting them together. It wasn't too bad after the first two and I got into an assembly line mode. I distributed the lights and had plenty of cable for my small backyard.
I found you have to be very careful making the connections from lights to cable. If you don't position everything just right, they don't work or flicker on and off. The light was sufficient for adding a little visibility to a dark yard in the evening.
The plastic is not very durable. It will fade and shatters if hit by the string trimmer or bumped by the lawn mower wheels. I relocated the lights further back from my edging and they hold up better. I found Lowes and Walmart sell replacement individual lights for this Malibu set.......

llamafett says "When you think reliability, think Toyota." about Toyota Corolla - 2004

I have owned a variety of makes of cars and have found nothing as reliable as Toyota. I can trust vehicles from Toyota to perform well with a minimum of issues. I recommend vehicles from Toyota to my friends and family and those who buy them are not disappointed.
I own the Corolla and enjoy it immensely. It handles well and in four years I have not had a trip to the mechanic for repairs. Doing regular maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations keeps this car in tip-top shape.
This car gets great mileage. In this time of outrageous gas prices I can count on this car to drive me around the country at affordable rates. My wife and I just took this car on a 4000+ mile trip this summer for a couple hundred dollars worth of gasoline.

...

llamafett says "Vizio is brand proving itself. This equals savings for you now." about Vizio - VX37L Television

Vizio used to make electronics for companies such as Dell. A few years ago they struck out on their own making LCD televisions. This is a high quality company, but because they don't yet have the name recognition of Sony or Samsung you save a lot of money on their products.
I own this 37 inch television and I love it. I have had no disappointments
You get two HDMI hookups with this television. This allows me to connect both my digital cable with HD channels and my upconverting DVD player to this television. HDTVs are they way to go now. You'll want these connections as more cable channels broadcast in HD and eventually you'll buy a high definition player such as HD-DVD or Blu-Ray.
The image quality of HD channels is amazing. Try Planet Earth from Discovery Channel to see what this TV can do.
...

llamafett says "With paint, you want to choose the best. This is it." about Behr Interior Satin Paint

I have used "value" brand paints before and they inevitably leave me disappointed. The finish isn't as good and they always require more coats of paint. By the time you are finished, you've spent as much on this paint as you would on Behr brand. Behr has a much better warranty and Home Depot can color match anything for you.
I think the satin finish is more forgiving than an all revealing flat finish. You can trust this paint to last for years without needing a repaint....
