lizardsally says "The Nikon D80 is a great camera for people who want more!" about Nikon - D80 Digital Camera

The Nikon D80 is a great camera for people who feel limited by the point and shoot cameras out there today. I think having some photography experience is helpful, but even if not you can just set the camera on the automatic settings and get some great shots! I love mine! Get a decent zoom if you can, not neccessarily a Nikor brand since they're so expensive, I got a Sigma for mine, and your camera will be even more versatile. I originally bought this because I had a Nikon 35mm SLR already, and I wanted to use my other Nikon lenses with it, but since getting the Sigma 18-200 zoom lens I find I never need to change the lens anyway! Make sure you get a filter to protect the end of your lens from scratches and damage, too. One negative thing about this camera is that it takes a special Nikon battery, so if you're on vacation and the battery runs low you'd better have brought the charger for it, because you can't just run out and buy a new battery!
...

lizardsally says "This printer ROCKS!!!" about Canon PIXMA MP620 All-In-One InkJet Printer

The Canon Pixma MP620 is by far the best printer I have ever used in my 13 years of using computers. My old printers were always Epson and they always sucked. I kept buying them because everyone said Epson made good printers. Hah!

This printer does it all - I printed a photo using some of the sample pack of 4" x 6" paper that came with it and it looks EXACTLY like I had the photo printed at a photo processing store. My other half, who is a professional photographer, was very impressed with the quality! I am sooooo impressed with this printer I can't stop telling people about it! My black and white inkjet print-outs look as good as laser print outs from the $$$$$ expensive printer at work!

I love that it has separate ink cartridges for the different colors so I don't have to replace ink that hasn't bene used up yet. I also love that you can "close" the printer up completely to keep dust and dog hair out - I didn't actually consider that factor when I was shopping for a...
...

lizardsally says "I hate using chemicals on my dogs, but this stuff really works!" about Comfortis

Firstly, let me tell you that I'm a firm believer in natural products and avoiding chemicals at all costs. I feed my pet carnivores an all natural, species appropriate diet of raw meat, bones and organs, just as their wild brothers the wolves would eat. That being said, I have tried everything to rid my house and dogs of fleas (a common problem here in Central Florida) and NOTHING worked before Comfortis. In the past (before I went all natural) I had tried all the other "chemical" products - Borax powder in the carpet, Frontline, Advantage, the sprays you can buy at pet stores. Then during recent years I tried all the "natural" methods - adding garlic to their food, diatomaceous earth, essential oil sprays. Nothing else worked to get rid of the fleas 100%.

I was at my wit's end until I heard about Comfortis. At first I was very leary of it - it's a new product, the clinical trials were only conducted on about 600 dogs, it sounded pretty scary. But the reviews I read...
...

lizardsally says "TRESemme Anti-Breakage conditioner ROCKS!!" about TRESemme Anti-breakage Shampoo

TRESemme Anti-Breakage conditioner is AWESOME! I'm the kind of girl who doesn't wear much makeup and I don't use any "hair styling" products or color my hair - I just wanted a decent conditioner! I'd been using Pantene Pro-V for years because it worked, but I'm really trying to avoid products made by Procter and Gamble since they're known to test their products on animals. I've tried many other conditioners in the past but I still kept coming back to Pantene (unfortunately) because none of them worked that well.

I finally found this one and it's NOT tested on animals but still makes my long, fine (naturally) blonde hair nice and soft! Since my hair is so fine it breaks easily but this conditioner really does seem to reduce that breakage. The fact that it's cruelty-free is such an awesome bonus! I haven't been using TRESemme shampoo or the leave in conditioner like they recommend on the bottle (I just use a cheap shampoo) but it still seems to work great, leaving my...
...
