lissakay says "Great coffee for the price." about Folgers Gourmet Selections

I am very value conscious and a bargain hunter. I won't pay for anything I can get for less. Coffee is the exception though. I am willing to spend more to get good coffee. Gourmet Selections is the right combination of quality and price for me. Flavored varieties are a little overpowering though.
...

lissakay says "Incredible product for curly hair if you're willing to spend." about Ouidad Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel

This is a hair gel product that can be purchased in salons, but I don't think it's super easy to find. I am very low maintenace and have very curly hair, and it makes my curls look prettier than any other product. The curls end up separated and not in huge clumps, and the frizz is gone. It is rather expensive though....

lissakay says "Average but a good choice for an efficient coffee maker." about Cuisinart 4-cup coffee maker

I used to have a 12-cup coffee maker, but it didn't really make sense since I live alone and could use the extra counter space. This coffee maker is nice and compact, so that is a place. It has a thermal carafe and shuts off automatically but not so soon that your coffee gets cold immediately. The carafe is not very well designed. It is hard to pour and often makes a mess when I try. It also makes a loud hissing sound as it brews coffee. ...

lissakay says "Fantastic value for what you get!" about Wet 'n Wild Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow

I'm the kind of person who never pays for anything when I know I can find something nearly identical for less. I know it's marketed mostly to teenagers, but I am in my twenties and rarely buy anything else. I really can't tell the difference between Wet n Wild and pricier brands....

lissakay says "It works pretty well but not without some drawbacks." about Cuisinart Classic Cordless Tea Kettle

The key feature of this tea kettle is that it shuts off automatically so it won't boil over or boil dry. That is a nice safety feature. The plus is that it boils water very fast, and the outside of the kettle gets hot but not dangerously so. However, it took a few weeks for the "factory smell" to go away, not the three to four uses the package indicated. Also, the past few times I have used it, the kettle has sprayed boiling water out of it and all over my counter. That is exactly what it was designed to not do, and I have only had it for a few months.
...
