lilstar11 says "Not the best phone for the brand recognition" about LG - Chocolate Clamshell VX8600 Cell Phone

Verizon rep sold me on this phone based on its rep for quality when compared to the Motorola Razr. I had been looking to purchase a Razr when my contract was up to get a new phone, but the rep said they had been getting a lot of Razrs back with problems, and not many of the LG VX8600 phones were coming back. I also liked that the phone has a bit more of a stylish look than the Razr w/ its sleek black style. However, if you don't keep the phone in a case, it's very prone to scratches and fingerprints... hence, mine is a bit sratched here and there with normal wear.

However, my chief complaint is about the reception and quality of phone calls. I can be in a full service calling area, and still have crappy reception. Seldom do I have full service when someone else w/ the same calling service has it. The phone reception is rather poor. And if you are on a call, you can barely hear who you are talking to. The person on the other line sounds very muffled. After speaking...
...

lilstar11 says "Works better than professional cleaners that service homes!" about Bissell Proheat Deep Cleaner Vacuum

We bought this before having our carpets professionally cleaned for a cost of $55 for just our living room, a 12x16 space. Not sure how to use it at first, we decided we would just pay to have the room cleaned and then start using the machine afterwards to keep up w/ our four dogs and common foot traffic. After being disappointed with the results of the professional steam cleaning and teflon protectant that was applied to our carpet, we decided to try the Bissell Pro Heat. We had purchased it for around $260.

We are never paying to professionally clean the carpets again! The ProHeat outcleaned the guy we hired to do it and has since more than paid for itself. With four large breed dogs in the house (yes, we are crazy), we have to do the carpets once every 2-3 months since the dogs track everything into the house and muddy pawprints sometimes sink into the carpet. But the ProHeat gets all the dirt out, even ground in pet hair! Our carpets look almost new again after using...
...
