lilbeezmom says "Wonderful online experience" about Rio Salado Community College - Chemical Dependency Counseling

I have been taking online courses from Rio Salado on and off for about 3 years, aiming for an AAS in Chemical Dependency, and I have had nothing but good experiences. For some time, I was required to takemid-terms and final exams at my workplace, but now most if not all of their exams are online and taken at home, which I like even better.

The courses are challenging, especially the Honors classes, and the instructors are helpful and always available for questions, etc..

I would encourage anyone interested in online learning to check out this school!
...

lilbeezmom says "Exceptional battery life" about Samsung - Upstage Cell Phone

I have had this phone for almost 2 months, and have only had to put it on the charger half a dozen times. Seriously. I have my phone on all day, almost every day, and text constantly, as evidenced by the over 9000 text count on my last bill!

I chose the phone because it looks sleek and cute, but I've been very pleasantly surprised, so far by how it actually performs for me.
...

lilbeezmom says "Much better than Verizon!!" about Sprint Nextel

I love Sprint! I have to say it! Maybe it's because we just switched from Verizon, who completely suck in my area, or maybe it's just because we haven't had any major problems yet.

Actually, I guess we have had one major problem- our first bill was for over $380.00 ! But, it only took 1 call to customer service, and they straightened out everything. The problem was more with the Sprint rep at the store not knowing what he was doing when he imported our Verizon numbers to our Sprint phones, and not with the company itself.

I was very impressed with this one experience. Nowadays, good customer service is everything, and I don't see it often enough. Kudos to Sprint/Nextel!
...

lilbeezmom says ""BACON" is all my dogs need to hear" about Purina Beggin' Strips Dog Treats

If you've seen the tv commercial for this product, then you have seen my dogs! They absolutely love these things! As soon as I even move the bag, they come running. Beggin Strips have proved to be very effective as training rewards for my two 2-year old Beagles. They are a little expensive and smell almost sickeningly bacon-y, but all in all, I would definitely recommend them....

lilbeezmom says "A new fan of Alison" about Alison Krauss - A Hundred Miles or More: A Collection

I've never been a huge fan of Alison Krauss because although I think she has a beautiful voice, her style of music was not my thing, or so I thought. I was fliping through channels on TV one Sunday afternoon, and ran across a show or infomerical promoting this CD. It grabbed me so strongly that I bought the CD the next day!

I enjoy every song on this CD, and especially the duets with James Taylor and John Waite. "Lay Down Beside Me" makes me cry everytime I listen. Even so, I love this CD!
...

lilbeezmom says "Not your usual rockstar autobiography" about The Heroin Diaries- A Year In the Life of a Shattered Rockstar

This is really an amazing book, and quite different from other celebrity autobiographies that I've read. Anyone who knows the Hair Bands of the '80s knows Nikki Sixx as a member of Motley Crue, and knows the band's reputation for living the wild life. It's all true, and there are many partying stories included here, but Nikki focuses on his increasing heroin, cocaine and alcohol addiction during the band's heyday. He is brutally honest, but does not preach. He lets his story teach you it's own lesson. His childhood was harsh, and he felt abandoned by both his parents and was mostly raised by grandparents. He does explore how this contributed to his addictions later in life, but in the end, blames no one but himself. I may be biased because I am in the addictions field, but I recommend this book (and the CD by the same name) to anyone is going through, has gone through, or knows someone in the throes of addiction. I honestly have never read anything more real or honest about...
...
