lhs323 says "Excellent service even for Economy passengers" about Thai Airways

Thai Airlines is an excellent airline with service that US airlines could only dream of matching. From the moment you get on board and see the bright purple uniforms, to the high-quality food served throughout the flight, there is no parallel with US long-haul flights. In addition, the movie selection is great and the English level ability of the flight attendants is superb. I highly recommend this airline for everybody....

lhs323 says "good service and convenient Newark hub" about Continental Airlines

Continental Airlines is a great airline for traveling internationally and for having good service (in particular, with food) for not only international flights, but also even domestic flights. In addition, it has a very convenient hub at Newark, NJ, with quick cheap train access to New York City. Overall I highly recommend this airline....

lhs323 says "Terrible customer service" about Spirit Airlines

Spirit Airlines is a terrible airline in every way; they only get away with it because they tend to have very low fares. Nonetheless, when you book with them, you are taking a great chance that you will be bumped off your flight or that your flight will be greatly delayed. Your rights as a customer are very limited with Spirit, and they are notorious for having poor customer service, but they get away with it by charging low fares. If anything at all matters to you other than the price, do not book with them. I had a bad experience on their Atlantic City to Cartagena flight, and the rest is history....

lhs323 says "Excellent frequent flyer mile program and good, less-crowded hub" about Northwest Airlines

I highly recommend Northwest Airlines, although it traditionally gets bad reviews from many people. For one, the frequent flier mile program is widely viewed as the best one among the 6 legacy carriers. It offers the most flexibility, has the least extra fees, and has the most ways to earn miles. In addition, its hubs are in less crowded locations like Detroit, Minneapolis, Memphis, and Tokyo, allowing for smoother connections. As such, I highly recommend Northwest Airlines....

lhs323 says "Baggage handling policies are a disaster" about American Airlines

American Airlines is a very bad airline when it comes to baggage. My baggage was recently lost flying from Miami to JFK, and the baggage claims person told me that it "happens all the time." The employees have a very nonchalant attitude about baggage, and it took me 2 weeks to finally receive my baggage. In addition, American Airlines was the first to begin charging extra money for the FIRST checked baggage. In summary, I recommend that you avoid checking luggage on American Airlines and perhaps consider flying other airlines....
