      <description>Once upon a time I had a beautiful blue Kitchenaid coffee make that made wonderful coffee &amp;amp; looked great sitting on my counter.&#160; Much to my chagrin I was notified that it was subject to a recall so for safety I packed it up &amp;amp; shipped it off.&#160; The replacement they sent me (for free) was a completely different model since my previous one was no longer made.&#160; The least of my complaints was that it was white; the biggest was that due to a design flaw in the pause-&amp;amp;-serve feature, it overflowed quite frequently.&#160; Imagine my frustration!&#160; To their credit Kitchenaid offered to replace it again however it would be with the same exact model.&#160; I declined.&#160; After much research &amp;amp; many comparisons, I settled on the Cuisinart DCC-1200.&#160; It had some great features I hadn't seen on any other coffee makers, like an adjustable temperature for the warming plate (we like our coffee HOT).&#160; I ordered it from an online retailer &amp;amp; as soon as we received it we began putting it through its paces.&#160; It should...... </description>
