http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/leslie Tue, 21 Aug 2007 04:13:49 GMT Reviews by leslie http://www.viewpoints.com/Cuisinart-Brew-Central-DCC-1200-Coffee-Maker-review-815c0 Once upon a time I had a beautiful blue Kitchenaid coffee make that made wonderful coffee & looked great sitting on my counter.  Much to my chagrin I was notified that it was subject to a recall so for safety I packed it up & shipped it off.  The replacement they sent me (for free) was a completely different model since my previous one was no longer made.  The least of my complaints was that it was white; the biggest was that due to a design flaw in the pause-&-serve feature, it overflowed quite frequently.  Imagine my frustration!  To their credit Kitchenaid offered to replace it again however it would be with the same exact model.  I declined.  After much research & many comparisons, I settled on the Cuisinart DCC-1200.  It had some great features I hadn't seen on any other coffee makers, like an adjustable temperature for the warming plate (we like our coffee HOT).  I ordered it from an online retailer & as soon as we received it we began putting it through its paces.  It should......
