lesakt says "Amazing durability, and tons of fun for your little one." about Fisher Price Roll-A-Rounds Drop n Roar Dinosaur

My son is now two and has been playing with the Drop and Roar Dinosuar for more than a year now. We got it used, but in like new condition; it retails for about $35.00. It is a toy that has grown with him. When he was a little guy, he just enjoyed trying to get the balls in the holes, or watching as the balls went in and then came down the tail or out of the dino's mouth. Now he likes to experiment with cause and effect: "If I put the ball in this hole, where will it come out?" He also likes to dance to the music. The music is pretty tolerable, and though the toy is a bit big, it is not going to take over your whole living room.

The thing that really amazes me, and the reason that I'm taking time to write a review, is the toy's amazing durability. This thing sat outside all winter (under our deck, but still got rained on a lot---we live in Oregon after all!) and it still works! The music plays, the dino roars, and even though it is dirty and spiderwebby, my son still...
...

lesakt says "Great leak resistant diaper cover" about Bummis Super Whisper Wrap Diaper Cover

I have been using cloth diapers since my son was born (he's 2 now). I'm a full time working mom, so I made the choice to use a diaper service and diaper covers, which works quite well for us. We bought about 7 or so covers, and rotate through them, washing them as needed, and we let the diaper service handle the big messes.

In the beginning I tried several different diaper covers, but have found these to be the best for my son. They seem to fit pretty true to size (he is 28 lbs and can still fit a medium which is for 15-30 lbs). He's never been a real chubby guy, always pretty average in weight, so I can't say how well these will work for those of you with babes who have adorable chunky-monkey thighs or tummys.

The covers are excellent at keeping leakage at bay. Occasionally, when he is really soaked, there might be some leaks, but that is a need to change him problem, not a diaper cover problem. At night, I use a large cover, rather than medium, and put in two diapers, and...
...

lesakt says "Don't do it mom! Put it back on the shelf!" about Fisher Price Fun to Learn Potty

I bought this chair on impulse, because my toddler was showing potty readiness. Oh how I wished I'd read other parents' reviews, because I never would have plunked down the 34 bucks for this thing!

Yes, it is cute. It looks like a little mini potty. My son enjoyed "flushing" the potty and dancing around to the songs. He also enjoyed taking the pee shield off and on, opening and closing the lid and looking at his reflection in the silver flush handle. What he did not enjoy was actually using the item. First, the lid threw him for a loop. Though we coached him to lift the lid, it would fall back, and so I think he got kind of scared, and he was reluctant to sit on it. When we did finally get him to sit on it, his little bum would trigger the infrared light that was supposed to tell when the child potties, but would totally misfire. The happy voice would say "Way to go! You went potty!" and he would jump right up to look without having done a thing.

The songs are loud...
...
