leanar2 says "Used to love it, but it's gone downhill" about Starbucks - Seattle, WA

I always used to go to Einstein Bagels for coffee, but for personal reasons I decided to try another coffee house en route to the daily grind. (OK - so sue me - pun intended...) Coffee at Starbucks for me was a fair price as I never drank the specialty drinks. I'd say the cost was comparable to other coffee houses' regular coffee prices. However if you drink the specialty drinks, it can become an expensive "addiction" in a hurry. I am just too rushed in the morning to make coffee for myself however. So a quick stop anywhere to get coffee, for the convenience factor alone, makes a run through any coffee shop cost effective in my way of thinking.

Then I found out from a Starbucks employee that if you work at Starbucks for even 20 or more hours per week, you get benefits (health at least and maybe others). Now even die-hard Republican that I am, that impressed me. So I made Starbucks my regular stop. So it's next to nothing because I get something out of it, but my little daily tiny......

leanar2 says "This is the only antiperspirant I will use" about Lady Speed Stick Invisible Dry Wild Freesia Antiperspirant & Deodorant

I have tried other antiperspirants, but they don't do nearly the job that Lady Speed Stick does. This product keeps you dry and doesn't let you down at the end of the day. I have several favorite scents in this brand, but Wild Freesia is one of the nicest scents available. It has a nice smooth "non-draggy" texture and does not leave residue on clothing. If you haven't tried Lady Speed Stick, the next time you run out of your brand, give it a try. And look for coupons in your Sunday newspaper, as you can often find coupons for this product too. The price is right even without a coupon, but hey, coupons are a GOOD thing... ...

leanar2 says "No plastic wrap between slices, but the taste is so much better" about Kraft Deli Deluxe American Cheese Slices

I have told family members and friends about Kraft American Deluxe sliced cheese. This is American cheese the way it used to be before the plastic-wrapped slices. If you buy the cheese slices in the individual wrappers and then you try the Deluxe sliced cheese that is NOT wrapped that way, you will be amazed. If you remember when cheese came only without individual wrappers, once you try this cheese, you'll know what I am talking about. Go buy some and make yourself a grilled cheese sandwich. Put what's left in a resealable baggie and it will stay fresh and not dry out on you. You'll never eat that "plastic" cheese again....

leanar2 says "This stuff works" about Tide-to-Go Instant Stain Remover

It used to be that if I was wearing a white blouse, by the end of the day, I would be wearing a coffee stain. It was a given. But this Tide-To-Go stick gets coffee stains out. That amazes me as you can you can spend 20 minutes trying to get a coffee stain out, but until it goes through a wash cycle, it is not coming out. But this product does it. I will say that not every stain comes out, but if it got everything out, they could have named it "the magic wand" or something. Nothing gets out every stain but this product gets out its fair share.

Keep one in your purse or at work and one day you'll need it and you'll see what I mean - because chances are, whatever you manage to get on your clothing, this Tide-To-Go stick will get it out.
...

leanar2 says "Works suprisingly well" about Gold Bond Medicated Powder

A friend recommended this product to me and I bought it and promptly put it in a drawer. I was complaining about itchy, dry skin and my friend said to use the Gold Bond I had bought. I really didn't think powder would make itchy skin better, but it did. Since then I have also bought the cream and lotion versions of Gold Bond and I like them all. My favorite is probably the lotion. But all of the Gold Bond products leave your skin kind of cool or tingly. Good stuff. ...

leanar2 says "Cost more than it was worth" about Littermaid LitterMaid Self-Cleaning Litter Box LM900

I had one of these and wound up giving it away as my cat didn't like that it moved and made noise. It didn't do that when she was in the box of course, but she noticed it and was a little scared of it I think. Also I thought it was a little messy. Maybe I needed a more premium clumping litter though.

I wish it had worked for my cat as it would have been convenient. I would say if a cat is not easily spooked and for those cat owners who really want to avoid scooping around in kitty litter, this might be a good product. My kitty though, gave it a "thumbs" down.
...
