laurie8888 says "Best Josh Groban yet" about Awake [Limited] by Josh Groban

This is Josh Groban's best album yet. More English songs than earlier albums (but still some in other languages) and the last three songs branch out into less traditional (for him) songs, with a lullaby, a protest song, and a more techno-beat song. Great new variety, same wonderful...

This is a fun, light movie which you can watch with your kids and not be embarrassed. The perfect combination of traditional Disney princess and modern society which leaves you smiling as you leave the theater. ...

laurie8888 says "A great way to get free stuff" about Chase - Amazon.com Platinum Visa

This is a great credit card for people who pay their balances off every month and shop on-line. I do not pay any fees for use of this card, I pay the same price for mechandise as I would with cash, and they send me gift certificates which I use for birthday gifts. And Amazon now has deals with other merchants so you can go through their website to purchase all kinds of things (unlike Barnes and Noble -- whose credit card I dropped because you can only buy books and movies with that site). A great...

laurie8888 says "website to bring a smile to your face" about I Can Has Cheezburer

This website is just a good way to start your day off with a smile. Users post pictures of animals (most cats, although there is an occasional walrus or two) with captions of what the cat would be saying. It is updated daily and I check it every morning after I read my local news and the national news on-line to restore some perspective after all the bad news of the day. ...

laurie8888 says "great value -- a suite for less than a single room in same city" about ShadySide Inn Suites - Pittsburgh, PA

This hotel is a great value. Rate quotes for single hotel rooms in downtown Pittsburgh were running $40 more than an entire two-bedroom suite here, complete with living room and small kitchen. The suite was the same size as my apartment back home, and these suites actually can be rented on a weekly or monthly basis, as welll as overnight. My entire family could share it and stll have private rooms for sleeping for much less than the cost of a single motel room, where my teenagers would have ending up sleeping on the floor in my room (to save money). The hotel is located in the ShadySide area of Pittsburgh, about a mile and a half from the city center -- close enough to walk for someone who likes walking. It is quiet at night and two blocks from the up-scale shopping area of Walnut Street. — My suite was very well-furnished and clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. In addition, the parking is...
