larabora says "Great coverage. deplorable customer relations!" about Verizon Wireless Network

I will never, ever get roped into a cel phone contract again! Verizon has been nothing but deceitful since the day we signed up for service. All my husband and I wanted was a basic cellular plan that allowed us to keep in touch with each other and to make a few cheap long distance calls. Instead, we got harrassed several times a month by sales people, pushing the latest and greatest plans. If we did have the misfortune to call customer service to ask a question about the bill or to get credit for a dropped call, we would be subjected to multiple sales pitches by their service reps. After finally getting credit, they would usually offer a trial of a service we did not have as an apology. What they never said was that we would be charged for this "apology gift" if we didn't call and spend another 1/2 hour minimum wait time to cancel before the free 30 day trial was up. What a rip-off!!...

larabora says "Fun and learning in one!" about Parker Brothers Scrabble Deluxe Turntable Edition

This is one of the few games that can be played by most anyone. It even works for my young daughter (who barely spells at 5), she plays with a partner. I love playing this game with older folks especially, because they already know the rules, there is no learning curve or lengthy explanations needed. The turntable board is so much easier to use, no more reading upside-down or straining your neck to examine the board. The whole family plays scrabble at least once a month and i find it makes me more aware of words, both their spellings and meanings. I am always on the lookout for a new word to whip out in our monthly tourney....

larabora says "Yummy and satisfying!" about General Mills - Fiber One Oats & Chocolate Chewy Bars

These bars are my favorite snack. They are high fiber, low calorie and they taste great. Hmmm......What's the catch? These things are totally addictive! I am on a liquid diet and I am allowed to have up to 2 snack bars sold ny the diet center. But, at $1.25 a pop, I couldn't afford to snack often until I found these gems. They meet or exceed the nutritional guidelined of my diet and are much cheaper. That being said, i must warn, those of you not used to high fiber must proceed with caution! These little gems are packed with 2 bowls of oatmeal's worth of fiber. If in doubt, eat 1/2 a bar the first day and see how your system handles it. I have no problem but I have a friend who cannot eat them, as she just reacts too strongly to all the fiber. I eat 1 or two a day and they satisfy my cravings for crunchy and sweet perfectly....

larabora says "Fun for everyone!" about Best Friend's Animal Society Crinkle Cat Balls

My cat loves this toy!
He is not a very playful guy, being 10 years old but since I bought this toy, he has really changed. I will catch him playfully batting this toy around at least once a day, a big change for a confirmed champion sleeper. This is the one toy that I can crinkle and wake him from a dead sleep to play. He gets more exercise now and I get more quality time with my kitty.
...

Loved this movie!
The cast was superb and acting was flawless.
Characters were very engaging, each with their own subplot, all failures, pinning their hopes on this little girl's pageant.
The whole movie is just a great big bulid up to a colossal punch line at the end.
...

larabora says "Love it, wish I could go every year!" about Disney Cruise Line - Wonder

We had a blast on this cruise! The service is top-notch and having the same wait staff for every dinner is so convenient. They quickly learned our likes and dislikes and catered to them. There were always fun activities to participate in and the kid's clubs are great. Most everything is included in the initial price, food, port fees and activities. Very reasonable for such high quality. I'd go again in a second!...
