lapblnd says "So pretty and practical" about Graco Pack N' Play Emelia

I bought this Graco Pack 'N Play Emelia as a replacement for my Fisherprice Simplicity Rainforest pack 'n play. I was so disappointed that I had to find a replacement. I was only getting $100.00 to find a replacement. I found this one on sale at Target for $99.99. It is so pretty. I love that it has the changing table on the side above the bassinet area. It has pockets on the end to hold diapers and ointments. The pad is very comfortable. It also comes with the music box with a light and timer. You can choose several different tunes. It takes up less room than the rainforest pack 'n play I had but doesn't look any smaller where the baby plays. I really love this pack 'n play and feel confident that it is safe for my daughter. Eventhough it wasn't my first choice, I'm glad we have it....

lapblnd says "Great item to keep the smell away" about Playtex Diaper Genie II

I bought the Diaper Genie ll at Babies R Us for only $15.00. It was on sale and I used an in store coupon. So for the amount I paid it is a great deal. I had the original Diaper Genie when I had my 9 year old. That one was more difficult to change the refills, but you could dispose of ithe diapers better than this one. This one you put your hand through the flap where all the dirty diapers are. That is the one downfall, but if you always wrap the diaper in a way that there's nothing sticking out of it you will not touch anything unwanted....My daughter is 7 months old now and on solids. I have yet to smell the dirty diapers in the room. One word of advice, when you cut off the diapers from the container, don't drop the filled bag as it could break. Just place it down softly. Don't want to have to clean up that mess!!!!
...

lapblnd says "Great choice for breastfed babies who don't have teeth yet" about Nuby 10 oz No Spill Cup with soft silicone spout

I am trying to wean my 7 month old daughter from breastfeeding. I have tried the platex nursing bottles and she won't take to them. I have been using these Nuby no spill cups with sillicone spouts. They are so soft and easy to clean. They are dishwasher safe. My daughter has been drinking out of them. I have introduced this nuby sippy cup over several weeks. At first she would just play with it and bite it. But eventually she got the hang of it.She would not take to the harder sippy cups. It has the easy hold handles to help teach her how to hold a cup. We love these sippy cups!!! You have to make sure the sillicone tops are lined up correctly in order for thehandles to be placed correctly and not leak. That is the only time I've had a leak is when it's not lined up correctly. They are more expensive than other brands, but they work for us.

Need to point out that if your baby has teeth, they will chew through the silicone spout and it will spill out very fast. I jut noticed this, so she...
...

lapblnd says "Worry Free While Baby "Sleeps"" about Graco Deluxe Movement Sensor Sound Monitor

I received the Angelcare Deluxe movement Sensor with sound monitor as a shower gift from my sister in law. It is a bit expensive, but worth every penny. My daughter is now 7 months. I have used this ever since we put her in the crib at 2 months. I like the fact that I can look over at the monitor and see that she is breathing. It also lets you know what the temperature is in the babies room. The only drawback is you must turn off the monitor when you pick up the baby or it will go off in the room and the parents room as well. You don't want to wake anyone else up if not needed. I didn't have this for my two older sons 9 & 6. I had the Graco dual receivers. I wish I did. They were loud and lots of feedback. This one is very quiet unless the alarm is going off.
...

lapblnd says "I love my Graco Emme travel system .So convenient & safe" about Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel Galore System

I bought the Graco Quatro Tour Travel System/ Emme. I love the pattern. I have two boys so when I found out I was having a girl I wanted to get the girliest stroller/car seat that I could find. It is very sturdy and so easy to use. And it is safe for up to 30 lbs or one year. I have big babies so I needed something that would be the best value as well as safety. The stroller folds with one hand and has extra large storage basket. It is a little bulky, but fits easily in the back of my mini SUV. It has thicker wheels for all kinds of terrain. I am happy with this purchase and looking forward to using it for several years....
