The movie is a bit dated, even before its release. Shannon Elizabeth, who plays the sultry foreign exchange student Nadje, is, in my opinion, the only thing that saves this film.

I find many of the jokes and comedic setup[s to be too predictable. But that is just me.

This film has an all-star cast. Fred Savage went on to 'Wonder Years;' Peter falk had just done 'Columbo.' Those two actors are central to the film.

The film is funny, touching, Romantic, and filled with action. Like the movie 'Sleepers,' there are many 3rd rate actors, that will remain lower on the list of celebrities, because you can remember exactly what you've seen them in, but not their names. Regardless, cary Elwes is also in it. He does a wonderful job, but I think the real 'hats off' goes to the following three gentlemen trying their hands at acting:

-Mandy Patinkin

- Andre the Giant (RIP)

- Billy Crystal

There are parts of this film that are uproariously funny, and others that are deeply touching. Would I recommend this film to a friend? No. I'd recommend it to EVERYONE.

This movie has an all star cast, in no order: Jason Patric, Brad Pitt, Robert DeNiro, Billy Crudup, Brad Renfro, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Bacon, Minnie Driver and many others. The thing really holding it back was its release date: Wednesday, September 12th.

I am a Rape survivor, and this film is a delicious tale of Revenge semi-fulfilled and the consequences of fulfilling your rage. I think the acting is wonderful, BUT there is one thing I am not crazy about. Yes, he's good looking, but I have a hard time believing Brad Pitt as a lawyer. An Underwear model or something. De Niro plays a convincing (and stirring) Priest. Dustin Hoffman, a Coked- and Boozed- Out attorney, representing the Defendants.

This film also stars a schlew of other D-list stars, stars that will remain that way because you can remember exactly what you've seen them in, but not their names.
