lainey says "Love it" about Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer

I have had my Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer now for 2 months and I love it. It has saved me time because of the super capacity of each and because the wash time is shorter than my old machine. It cleans well. The dryer is much larger than the washer so clothes come out less wrinkled than my old set. The wash and dry time is well matched so washing many loads a day is easy - no backlog. The dryer senses dampness, so the dry time is adjusted to the needs of the individual load. They are easy to use and do a great job.

The only thing I don't like is that the wrinkle guard at the end of a cycle (if chosen) stops and then tumbles for a few seconds periodically. It concerns me that the clothes stop and they can get wrinkled during this time. I would rather have it automatically switch to air only and continue tumbling while buzzing every few minutes for a certain length of time, like an hour. Also, the heat is a little high during this "wrinkle guard" cycle, which sets in wrinkles. ...
...

Symbaloo is a website that allows you to keep all your frequently used websites organized in one place. It's like having an internet desktop that goes with you wherever you go, whatever computer you're on. After loggin in, you have your own screen to personalize with links you frequently use. This allows you to organize your daily surfing stops from one location. It also comes with links to news at a glance, and common search engines for every day needs such as shopping, encyclopedia, weather, yellow pages, white pages, translation, currency exchange, maps, travel, recipes, medical information, and much more. You can choose which icons to population your page with. I use this as my home page and I can go everywhere from there. Each time you click on an icon, it opens a new window, so you can keep symbaloo open. It is a great time-saver and customizeable to the places you like to go. Try it, you'll love it....

lainey says "Awsome" about Pandora Radio

I just learned about Pandora radio and I have been listening ever since. How awsome to be able to choose a music style that you like and they then find other music and artists that you may not already know about to enjoy endless music of a style custom-taylored for you. I have also learned about artists that I didn't know about before that I really like. This will expand my horizons of listening to a wider of artists, but also it revolutionizes my music experience by having continuous new songs in a style I like. I'm being exposed to more music than if I just listened to my mp3 of music I have purchased....

lainey says "Nothing Special about this place" about Mayan Palace Riviera Maya - Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, Quintana Roo

This resort is way off the beaten path, far from restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. If you don't want to rent a car, then you are stranded. The food is rediculously expensive (there is no all-inclusive option) and you are stuck paying the high prices or starve.

The beach is rocky and not good for swimming or wading.

The resort is very large and you have to take a shuttle to get from your unit to the restaurants, pool or beach, thus no beach view. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes, so we spent a lot of time standing around waiting for shuttles.

The resort is pretty, the staff is friendly and the food is good. The maids turn your bed down at night and leave chocolate on your pillow. In spite of all this, we did not enjoy our time here, as we would rather have had a beach view, be able to walk to the pool, beach and restaurants. We were disappointed that the beach wasn't good for swimming or wading. We prefer a resort where we could get around easier without renting a car,...
...

lainey says "Unreliable" about Sony Ericsson - E520A Cell Phone

We have 3 of these phones in our family. 2 of them had to be replaced during the 1 year warranty period, and 1 of them had to be replaced just after the warranty expired, so they do not hold up. I am hoping that we don't have to replace the first 2 before our 2 year contract is up.

The button for the camera is on the outside of the phone in a spot that frequently gets bumped, so I am always taking pictures of my pocket - this is extremely annoying.

The loudest volume can still be hard to hear while on the phone compared to other phones and this is frustrating.

Frequently I hear myself echoing as I am talking on this phone.

...

lainey says "Fabulous " about Crown Paradise Club - All Inclusive - Cancun,

I can't say enough good things about the Crown Paradise Club. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed. The maids did something extra special every day of our stay with towel creations and flowers. The food was outstanding (this is an all inclusive resort) and a very good value. The entertainment was exceptional. The location right on the beach was really nice. There is so much to do and see in Cancun, we had a great time....

lainey says "Unbelievable nightmare" about US Airways

Were were scheduled to fly out of Cancun when our flight was over an hour late because the crew hadn't shown up. At the airport, they kept calling for our crew to report to duty. Cancun is known for being a party place, so that made us rather nervous.

When we arrived at Phoenix (our layover), we were concerned about missing the next flight. However, many flights had been delayed due to a thunderstorm, so we had hope that we might still make it. We had to get off and go through customs, which was 1 1/2 miles away from the gate. The representatives from U.S. Air said that if we missed our flight, we were on our own for accommodations (it was late at night) even though the missed flight was their fault. They couldn't tell us whether or not our flight had left yet. They suggested that we just go to the gate. We ran with all our carry on the 1 1/2 miles (the person at the gate told us that it was this distance), went through security, made it to the gate, only to find out that...
...
