ladysorci says "The most inspiring" about Be As You Are by Kenny Chesney

Kenny is great with this collection of songs. He knows what many of us know about the ocean and the comfort that it gives those who appreciate it. The songs come from his heart and soul. This cd can be played over and over again with the same joy of listening I found the first time I played it. A must have for country music collections. His christmas album, "All I want for Christmas is a real good tan" Is a must for the holidays. ...

ladysorci says "Finally a Bond of today and tommorrow" about Casino Royale

Being a James Bond (Sean Connery) fan, I pretty much disregarded every Bond of late. Daniel Craig on the other hand didn't try to be Sean Connery, he is James Bond. He has the gentleman attitude with some arrogance. Mix that with a sense of humor of this era and you have 007. This movie also explained about how 007 continues over the years and perhaps why James Bond has no problem seducing so many women. It is a worth buying....

ladysorci says "as good if not better than the other two." about Ocean's Thirteen

The story is intriguing. Living close to Las Vegas and knowing something about it, The ocean movies are almost plausible in their timing. The third one is, to me, the best of the 3 and I hope for more, if they can top this one. It is funnier than the others and Matt Damon grew up in this one. He was great. I believe they left it open for a 14, because the Fox was there. He will make a great adversary for another episode. All the ocean movies are worth buying and I suggest you buy the original Ocean's 11 with Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Joey Bishop, etc....

ladysorci says "wonderful exciting show" about The Dresden Files TV Show

This is a show with unlimited story potential. The characters are wholesome, funny, real. It makes you wonder about life and what may be out there. Why can't there be wizards that help people. It is ok to have ghosts running around causing problems until they get their way, but not a detective wizard with a heart. Wizards aren't all evil. I have the first season, there should be more....

ladysorci says "A fun drive" about Toyota Yaris - 2007

I have had my Yaris for 3 months. It is my first foreign vehicle. I have driven trucks most of my life. I love this car. I have the 2 door, hatchback model. there is more room in the back seat and I can get plenty inside. I actually gets 39.8 mpg. It is fun to drive and has a great stereo as well as I-pod plug in and cell phone charger. And it sure beats paying $16 a fill up than $42. ...

ladysorci says "Johnny Depp was at true form" about Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

At World's End was not quite as good as the first two, but Johnny Depp was great as Capt. Jack. He and Orlando Bloom where the same as in the others. As I watched it I didn't realize how long it was. This trilogy is one that can be watched over and over, because you will see something new that you missed before. I think a fourth would be good in 4 or 5 years. After all since Will may have a son when he comes ashore again. This is a DVD to buy....

ladysorci says "Matt Damon is perfect as Jason Bourne" about The Bourne Ultimatum

Matt Damon is perfect as Jason Bourne. A killing machine trying to find out who he really is. He is a natural in the fight scenes. His thought process is remarkable. Damon makes it look natural. He isn't cold like most hired guns that are played in the movies. He is multi-demensional in his thoughts, actions and even facial expressions. I have the first 2 Bourne dvds and will have the 3rd in a couple of weeks....

ladysorci says "amazing cinematography" about Beowulf (2007)

Beowulf was fantastic. I saw it for the opening. A cross between movie and computer animation. Anthony Hopkins was the King. Movements, speech, attitude was amazingly real. Angelina Jolie was the perfect temptress. Her seduction was intoxicating. The fighting, the horses, even the ocean held me spellbound. 3D puts you right there in the middle of it. I would love to see it again. Beowulf sounds and looks like the true man of the times. Smart, confident and a fighter, yet human. Well worth the hour drive to the theater.
...
