ladybug-va says "Loved the Movie...but it sure was long!" about American Gangster

I thought this movie was great. Really I did...but I'm not sure it needed to be two and a half hours long. It was a touch violent and I could have done without the majority of the nudity but overall a good film. I felt like the first half of the movie was very drawn out, but that there were still several plot points that were brushed over and never explained. The end, confusing. Russel Crowe's character goes from being a cop to putting on a suit and being a lawyer in point two. It seemed like everything after that, really rushed. I would have rather they focused less on the in between stuff and more on the details about what happened at the end...but if you have a few hours to kill, go see this movie!...

ladybug-va says "Fantastic Sound!" about Bose 3·2·1 Entertainment System

My husband talked me into this. Finally I agreed and I'm glad I did. The sound from this thing is amazing. It was super easy to hook up (at least it looked easy, I just watched) and we were watching TV and DVD's in minutes. We do have a smaller living room, so I'm not sure if that helps the sound quality or not, but because the speakers and sub don't take up a lot of space it's easy to find space for it in the smaller room. We tried this product out in the store before we purchased it and we were sold, they tried to upsell us the one that will hold MP3 files, but we have a monster cable that we use to hook up our iPod which gives us access to a ton more songs. If you're looking for a great speaker system but don't want to spend thousands and thousands of dollars check this out, you won't be sorry!...

ladybug-va says "Love them, they look like real boots (not like moon boots)!" about UGG Australia Ugg Ultra Tall for Women

I love these boots! They're easy to slip on, look great with any type of pant and they're super warm. When my friends were first talking about the UGG trend I stayed far, far away. I thought...well, they were ugly. They looked like moon boots. Then I saw the Ultra's. They have what looks like a reinforced toe so they look less round and spacey and they're super comfortable. I got the carmel colored pair and I can wear them with jeans, khaki pants and even dress pants if it's too cold for my dress shoes on the way to work. They are pricey, but if you don't go running through puddles and wearing them when you're hiking, I get the impression they'll last forever (if you take care of them). If you're looking for comfort (I can't wear heels, so it's nice that I can still have a stylish boot that is trendy) and something to keep your feet warm then buy this boot!!...

ladybug-va says "Love Them!!!" about Ugg - Dakota

I adore these slippers. I purchased them last year and while I can't wear them during the summer months (I'd burn up) I'm excited it's cold again so I can wear my UGGs. They run true to size (I wear an 8 in regular shoes and have an 8 in these slippers) and they're easy to slip on and off. What I love about them is they have a regular sole so I can run outside to grab something out of my car if I need to without having to change shoes. The only down side is the ties on the top of the slipper occasionally come untied, but I can deal with that! These would make a fantastic gift for any woman on your list (or yourself)! ...

ladybug-va says "Love the phone, hate the battery." about Motorola Q Smartphone

My husband and I both purchased the Q after getting rid of our Sprint service (after they erased every single contact in my phone). At first we loved it, great for texting, easy to check email on the web enabled sites and the sound quality on the actual phone was good. Recently we noticed that the phone doesn't seem to hold a charge. At all. I unplug my phone as I leave for work, commute for about an hour then turn it off when I get to work. I turn it on when I get back in the car at the end of the day and often by the time I get home (an hour later) the battery is already down from three bars to two. We took the phones to the Verizon store (as this is a new occurance so we thought maybe something was wrong with the phone) and the tech support said that battery life is a problem with all of the Q's and the only options were to buy the extended batter and to kill all of the programs that are running on occasion after you text or email. (and to only keep the phone plugged in only until......
