laceymb123 says "sometimes you get lucky" about Comcast - Cable Company

Comcast offers great specials and we are in love with on demand. Those are the perks. Customer service for the most part is terrible. Tech support seems to only read from a book and not actually have any knowledge of their equipment. The installers are either awesome or awful...doesn't seem to be any inbetween there. I pay very little for my package though so I'm willing to put up with the hassle. We also have Direct tv in several rooms. Their customer service is superior to Comcast but the problems with it are more frequent so I'd choose comcast over Directtv anyday...at least I don't have to deal with them...

laceymb123 says "So many uses...you can't go wrong with this one!" about Avon Skin So Soft Original Bath Oil Spray

I have a list of 101 uses that I am going through...so far I have tried 60 and all of them actually work....from bug repellent to adhesive remover this product is a winner. I think the only downside to it is the smell...I personally like the smell but I've heard a lot of complaints that its smells bad. I pay about $10 for a huge bottle....I could barely buy that much cheap baby oil at that price and we won't even talk about expensive bath products. It's a winner in my book...I love cheap and I love muliti...

laceymb123 says "Dog hate it.....KIDS AND MOM LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!" about iRobot Roomba Sage For Pets

The dog runs from it but I am in love!!!! It was pricy...yes. It does need to be cleaned out often...yes. BUT.....that's minor compared to the time that I am saving with this! We have 4 children age 8-14 and a american staffordshire terrier.....we only have one room that is carpeted....the other 3000+ square feet are wood floors....you know the kind where the dust bunnies make their way to the corner really quickly? I used to spend so much time sweeping and vacuuming every day. I remember thinking one time that I would like to have a job outside the home rather than work from home all the time....then I wondered BUT WHO WOULD CLEAN THE FLOORS? It was THAT bad...seriously! I have 1 roomba for each floor....this pet one we use on the main floor because that is where the dog mainly is but it also works better on things like grass, people hair, bigger crumbs etc so I'm thinking about replacing the other with this one. I love this thing and gave it a perfect rating but there are...

laceymb123 says "Great product for the money." about Everex StepNote

I read the previous review and can agree that the way this laptop is packaged, it is not perfect. However, with a quick memory upgrade and a little tweeking it is fabulous for the money. I knew when I chose it that it didn't have enough memory to do what I wanted it to so I never actually used it with the amount of memory that came in it. I also never used it with Vista on it....too many problems too much hassle. I run Xp and have added memory and all is great. I paid $300 for it and after 6 months of ownership, I feel that I have already gotten that out of it. I was without a laptop for some time and it's amazing how much more you accomplish when the computer can come with you! Anyway, all and all this is a great buy though it may be as great for someone who can't upgrade on their own...if you have to pay for these things, you may want to consider something that already has exactly what you...

laceymb123 says "By far the worst VOIP provider out there!" about Vonage

We have tried many different companies over the years and have tried 3 different VOIP companies. Vonage was the worst of the worst. First of all, we switched because they offered a better pricing plan and more features but it wasn't worth the savings. While we all have cell phones, I give out the home number often for the kids activities, work contacts that would be nonemergency etc. While not emergency these are still important calls. We already had a phone number and wanted to port it over...Vonage said they could do that and signed us up. We got the package and started the process of setting it up and found out we did not have the same phone number...they had assigned a new one. Major inconvenience but ok...we started calling everyone and letting them know we had a new number. At first, Vonage seemed good...we got the unlimited plan which was very inexpensive and we were happy for a little over a month. I started getting...

laceymb123 says "Nice phone....great features" about LG - enV VX9900 Cell Phone

Ok...here's my story...we went to the Verizon store to look...idea being we were going to switch providers because we signed up with Cingular 2 years ago and after ATT took over everything got screwed up. The service didn't work during peak times, I would go to pay my bill and it would say no balance due so I would have to call them and spend up to an hour on the phone to get my bill paid...the list goes on. We wanted to get the kids all phones on Verizon as well but they were with us at the store so we just let them walk around and watched what they were doing so we knew what interested them. I only looked at a couple of phones....none of them that were in the price range that I was willing to pay seemed very impressive to me but I didn't have a ton of time to look since I was observing the kids. We came home and decided to place the order online. I read online reviews of the few that interested me and the EnV looked by far the best. When it arrived, I looked at it and said...

laceymb123 says "The price is right for this great little MP3 Player" about Creative - Zen Micro MP3 Player

We bought this player for our oldest daughter. I was skeptical because of the price....I got it at geeks.com for $50. I decided that it was worth the gamble since teen agers lose interest in things so fast....I'd hate to buy her a $200 Zune to find out that she'd rather listen to her music on her phone! I have to say that I was really impressed from the time that I opened the box. It's smaller than it looked in the pictures....I thought it would be a bit bulky but its not huge...its not too small either....the screen is a decent size. I got my laptop out and was able to start loading up her songs in a matter of minutes....easy, easy, easy!!! We have had LOTS of different players in our house (various Ipod, $10 cheapies, Zune etc) this was by far the easiest to get started with. It plays well, no skips or stops. The battery life seems good...we haven't had it run out of juice yet before she had a chance to recharge it. We replaced...
