kurbish says "interesting and funny" about Christopher Moore - Fluke: Or, I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings

Every book of Christopher Moore shows that he has done his research well, before he wrote his books but you'll be amazed of this fact about him especially after reading the "Fluke" . This isn't the funniest book of him, but if you're somehow related to sea or mammals or biology or any kind of academic work you'll think this book is your childhood teddy that you want to go bed with and wake up with.

It has a twist somewhere close to middle that you'll never expect or guessed. If you'll like funny fiction books you'll love this one. It's not a kind of book that's written just to make the readers laugh it has a lot of clever work behind it.
...

kurbish says "beware! you can wet yourself while laughing hard..." about Christopher Moore - Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal

This book is hilarious, as the title says it's a story which is written by a childhood friend of Christ. But it's nothing you heard before. In the book you will take a long journey from Middle East to East Asia with Biff and Christ(who's trying to figure out what is his purpose being the son of the God)

It's not a religious book at all, but if you're not a radical religious person you won't find this book an offender too. After all it's a fiction book. right?

The writer did his homework very well, he knew the facts, geography and history and he just wrote a very very funny book with the blend of the facts and his brilliant imagination. I guarantee that you will laugh out loud at least every ten minutes while you're reading this well written book. My husband who really doesn't like to read long books was so curious about "Lamb" because of my laughing episodes. He immediately started to read it after I've done with the book.
...

kurbish says "entertainment for months" about Fisher Price Roll-A-Rounds Drop n Roar Dinosaur

Give it sometime...

This toy has a really easy mechanism, push the balls through the holes and you'll get music, lights and roars of the dinosaur. It has bright colors and you can adjust the volume so that you can still talk on the phone while your baby is enjoying it. We bought this toy for our daughter when she was 8 months old. She just sat and watch her daddy playing with it for awhile. But around 10 months she was really interested in it. She figured out that putting the balls into the holes makes music and light show. She can play with it by herself since then. She's now 14months old and we don't have a day without her playing with it at least once. It's over 2 feet in length and 1 foot in width but we put it in the corner of her room just across the door. And she is playing with it whenever she wants it's not out of reach but it's not sitting in the middle of the family room.

I don't think it's necessary to buy extra balls for it. The ones coming with the toy has cute dinosaurs...
...

kurbish says "it's worth more than it's cost" about Dorel Brand 3-in-1 Sleigh Crib

Better than the more expensive ones...

We shopped for a crib for months. We didn't want to spend a lot of many but we wanted the best for our baby. We finally put this crib on our baby registration list and got it at our baby-shower from really close friends. We assembled the crib the minute we got it, it only took 10 minutes or so. But unfortunately we had to move out before the baby's birth so we dissembled the crib and assembled it again. It was very easy to do that. The material used for the crib is really good. First of all it has a metal mattress rail that many expensive models don't have. My 14 months old daughter likes to jump on her mattress and I don't have to worry about her breaking the mattress rest. Lowering the drop gate needs some practice but after you got it(and you'll get it after the first five tries), it's just one hand job. But a baby or even a small child can't do it. So there is no safety concerns there. It comes with the wooden support that you'll need it...
...

kurbish says "It worked so great for me, sometimes even better than the baby." about Avent Isis Manual Breast Pump

Very efficient...loved it...

This pump is so easy to use and clean. It works without any noise so you can use it in your office without anyone suspecting what you're doing behind the doors. It's so small that you can easily fit it in your diaper bag. It was really efficient for me, sometimes more efficient than the baby. It only took 5 minutes for me each time to pump the amount of breast-milk that my baby was drinking at that time. The only con would be you need the use both hands. But again using an electrical model doesn't give you the option of controlling the speed of pumping. And personally the electrical ones make me feel myself in a milk farm as a cow by taking the all control from me.
...
