kubby says "That smiley price lowering guy lies!" about Walmart

I do shop at Wal-Mart but it gets more annoying each time I do. One week you get a good price on your staple items, the next week the price goes up. Go back the following week and it is lowered again! That little smiley guy that knocks the prices down, ALSO knocks the prices up but Wal-Mart doesn't admit that to the customer in their commercials. It's a big game. — I also hate the fact that so many of their products are made in China. Our country is going down the tubes in the manufacturing area. And products from China are dangerous, as we are finding out. They do not care if our children get lead poisoning. But the companies that import it are at fault there also. They should have stringent testing policies in place before putting these Chinese-made items up for sale. — I like that Wal-Mart will "price match" if you bring in the ad from another store, but they sometimes make up rules as they go along. I took a Petco...

kubby says "Chuck is a fresh, comedy, spy show." about chuck

I absolutely love this new TV show, starring Zachary Levi. I didn't recognize him at first with the "nerd" hairdo, but he is adorable on this show. He is an — "accidental" spy and he works at a computer store called "Buy More." — He is in love with the real female spy and she is also falling in love with him but she cannot allow herself to tell him, so there is that sexual tension between them. You find yourself rooting for him to get the girl, but you know that won't happen so it makes you sad for him. — The plots are clever, interesting, funny and very enjoyable. I used to be a big fan of "Get Smart" when I was a child and this seems like the 2007 version of that show. It's not as campy or silly though, it is fresh. Try it a few times and I'm sure you will love it. — It may be difficult to understand it at first but you will catch on. I hope that NBC keeps this show on the air, it is one of my...

kubby says "Good for you!" about Yoplait Light Thick & Creamy Yogurt

I recently started eating Yoplait yogurt because my store had a good sale on it--20 containers for $10, so it was only 50 cents each. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it for a quick snack or a meal when I'm on the go. — I like the Thick & Creamy best, but also eat the Original. I'm not crazy about the Whipped kind because it's not a good value. It's mostly air with a bit of flavoring, not filling at all. — I like that you don't have to mix it to get to the fruit, it's already mixed well. I purchased some Breyer's yogurt one day and when I opened it there was a lot of liquid on the top and I had to mix it to get to the fruit. It was very unappetizing to look at. Yoplait isn't like that. It's ready to eat as soon as you pull off the lid. — There are a lot of different flavors, something to please everyone! And it is also good for you so that's a bonus. —...

kubby says "Help pay those huge college tuition bills!" about Upromise

When I joined this site I didn't know whether to believe that it would actually save money for me. Well, I can tell you now that it definitely does! — Join Upromise and before you make a purchase online look on their site to see if they are sponsored on Upromise. If they are, follow the directions and a percentage of the money you spend there will go to your Upromise account. — You have to register your credit cards and store loyalty cards with Upromise and that is scary to a lot of people, but I haven't had any problems yet. You can have more trouble handing your card to waiters in restaurants, etc. — When you make purchases at some stores with your loyalty cards sometimes a product is also a sponsor of Upromise, like Cottonelle toilet paper. You get a few pennies added to your account. These pennies add up! — The fastest way to add money to your account is to talk your friends and relatives into joining for you and taking...

kubby says "I love The Big Bang Theory on CBS! FUNNY!" about The Big Bang Theory

The experts keep saying that sit-coms are on their way out and I hate to think that is true. This cute sit-com makes me laugh out loud at least 10 times per show and the world needs more laughter. — The characters are 4 nerdy men and 1 pretty female neighbor. The nerds all like the neighbor but one REALLY likes her and hopes to have a relationship with her someday.....but it will never happen. — The nerds are hilarious, each one has their own quirks, but together they are all the same underneath. I like the 2 main characters best, Sheldon and Leonard. When they start talking "nerd" it is hard to keep up with them, but it is hilarious. You don't have to be technical to understand what they're saying, it's just nerd talk and meant to be humorous. — You must watch this show a few times and drink it in. It is fresh and funny and I truly hope it is renewed. Sit-coms are wonderful escapes from the scary world we live in. —...
