ktfusa2000 says "Great for space restricted, little pricey" about Baby Trilogy Spindle corner crib

I was able to buy a Baby Trilogy spindle canopy bed for my fifth son. I loved the iddea of this bed, it is a corner crib, with three siddes, somewhat pie shaped. Fits snugly into a corner of the room, leaving more space in the nursery. I loved the canopy, and the front panel ,is a drop-down. This crib is only available at specialty shops or online, and the mattress and bedding has to be special ordered, unless you know someone handy with a sewing machine.

I love the way this crib looks, it is unique, and I love that it doesn't take up as much space as a traditional crib. On the down side, once my son started moving around in the crib, he was constantly getting his legs or arms stuck in between the spindles. He evventually became more mobile, and learned how to get himself out of those predicaments. Overall I am still very happy with my purchase, and would recommend this to others, but won't be passing mine on to any friends, I'm saving it for my kids!!
...

ktfusa2000 says "Good buy for the price" about VTech - ia5863 Phone

I was in the market for a new phone, and wanted several features but didn't want to pay a small fortune. Most important was caller id, cordless handset, and answering machine.

I really neededd the answering machine, as my phone company wants your first born for voicemail capabilites. I also have a two story home, but only one phone jack, so cordless was a must. Like so many others, I screen calls, and caller id was a neccessity.

I looked at several models, before finding the vtech, and was skeptical that one so affordable could really give me the quality I wanted, so I actually purchased a much more expensive model, another make. Within a week, I was unable to see the display for the ID. Upon reading other reviews found that this was common with this type of phone.

I went back to the store and bought the vtech. I set it up, and was pleased at the ease of reading the display and numbers.

It's been 6 months, and I've not had a single problem with this phone. Well worth what I paid, would...
...

ktfusa2000 says "Not worth the hassle or the heart attack" about Gerber Biter Biscuits

I bought these for my fifth son, they weren't around with my older boys, but I thought what a great idea! I didn't realize what I was in for.

My son took right to holding it, it does have a perfect size and shape for little hands. In his mouth it went and within minutes, he was covered in the goo that resulted from his saliva mixing with this biscuit. That in and of itself wouldn't have turned me off, I have cleaned up many a mess, and it did seem to help him with his need to gum something and he was content.

About five minutes into his exploration of this new activity, he had gooed the biscuit up enough that unbeknownst to me a large cunk had broke off into his mouth.Luckily I was in the same room and turned just in time to see him start turning blue. I yanked him out of his high chair and turned him upside sown and did a quick heimlich and watched the chunk fly across my floor. I spent the next several minutes trying to console my 8 month old, while waiting for my heart to return to...
...

ktfusa2000 says "Great taste, no droopy kids!" about Claritin Children's Chewables

I have two children who suffer from allergies, one just occasionally and one at all times!! My six year old has a heck of a time, and while he is on an inhaler for his breathing difficulties, most of the prescription and OTC drugs we have tried, leave him so tired that he is unable to enjoy not having the sneezing and itchy eyes!

I bought him some of the Children's Claritin chewables in grape flavor, and the first thing I noticed is he loved the taste! THey are so easy to take. I kept a close eye on him and he never seemed to get that drowsy feeling like so many times before. He was able to keep up with his older brothers, and play like any 6 year old.

I noticed a definite improvement in his allergy symptoms, he didn't have the runny nose, itchy eyes, or sneezing that he usually comes down with while outside. I love this product and will be keeping this in the medicine cabinet. Oh yeah, I did get him the fast dissolvingtabs specific for kids over 6 but he didn't care for those at all....
...

ktfusa2000 says "Great idea, but usage is limited to baby's intelligence" about Bumbo Baby Seat

I received a Bumbo chair for my fifth son, and couldn't wait, after all these things are all the rage. My son started to sit in it around 3 months of age, and seemed to like it ok, I loved how easy it was to feed him in it, and it was so soft, not at all hard, seemed like it would be comfortable. I would recommend using it as a prtable feeding chair, and there are even handy little trays you can buy seperate, which I did not have.

As my son got better coordinated, he would sit in it and play, and if he happened to drop his toys, he was close enough to the floor that he could reach the toys himself! Beware, this chair should not be used on an elevated surface, and I will exp[lain why in just a moment. The molded leg openings were great in that he wasn't slipping out of the seat.

Basically this chair was a godsend until my son reached about 6 months of age, at which time, he started to arch his back, and try to squirm more, and he popped himself right out of this chair! Luckily I had only...
...

ktfusa2000 says "A lifesaver!!" about Fisher Price Soothing Motions Glider

This seat is a real blessing! My nephew loves it and we really got our money's worth! I like the option of the front to back or side to side movement, the only downside is it really eats up the batteries! I would like to see future models raised a bit, as it sits low to the ground, and I wouldn't recommend using it on a table....

ktfusa2000 says "Next best thing..." about Playtex Drop-Ins Original Nurser Baby Bottle

I have just given birth to my fifth child, and have used this system with each of my sons, for over 12 years! I breastfeed, and supplement with formula, and have never found a bottle that compares like the Playtex drop-in system. None of my children ever suffered from nipple confusion, even being offered the bottle within the first week of birth! I love that I don't have to worry about sterilizing the bottles, and the liners are so convienent....

ktfusa2000 says "Great pics for the price!" about Kodak EasyShare C613 Digital Camera

I purchased the kodak easy share with dock, and for the price this camera is great! It's easy for those who may be tech confused, like my mom, or someone who catches on pretty easily. The dock is great in that I don't need a computer handy to print my pics, and the colors are great5!...
