kslyker says "I empty the canister twice a week! " about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

I have a husband who tracks in a lot of dirt, two kids, two cats, and a dog! And we live in west Texas, where dust storms are not uncommon.

I vacuum once a week, at least. And I empty the canister at least twice. I don't mind, because I can really see what I'm picking up! With my old Hoover, I probably changed the bag every couple of months! That's proof that the Hoover just didn't compare.

I'm always amazed to see what is in the canister. I don't know where it finds all the dirt and hair! But I'd rather vacuum it up, than leave it in my carpet.

The Animal is easy to use, easy to empty. My friend purchased a yellow one, since it was cheaper. I used it at her home once, and missed my Animal. The handling and tools are worth the extra expense. Her hose was cumbersome. I was really surprised that there was such a difference between models.

I'm a huge believer!!

I bought mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond... and used a 20% off coupon. It saved me more than $100!!
...

kslyker says "When they are full & stop working, you notice immediately!" about Sharper Image Ionic Breeze - Air Purifier - Professional Plus

We bought two refurbished models in 2003. I just changed the bulb in one of them. That's more than 4 years later.

We also have a desktop model in a child's bedroom. A bathroom model in one bathroom, and another bathroom model in another child's bedroom.

Perhaps you may take for granted the fresh clean air while it is working...

But when I come home from work, and the one we keep in the living room area/kitchen is full and shuts off... I smell it the moment I walk into the house. There is a pet smell, and general smell that you just don't have when the units are working. I feel the same way about the models in our bedrooms.

I also feel like it helps our allergies, my husband's asthma, and our general quality of sleep.

The dusty is clearly evident when cleaning out the filter. These things work!
...

kslyker says "Both my children used this, and they are strong and healthy." about Carnation Good Start

I am mother to a six year old boy, and three year old girl.

With Ben, I used Good Start in the purple canister. It was the only one at the time. Ben is strong, healthy, and has an excellent immune system.

When Kate was born, they came out with the orange canister, and for a long time I spent the extra money because it was THE BEST. But I realized, Ben did just fine with the purple, and Kate will too. And she did!

If you genuinely can't afford the extra expense, don't guilt yourself into buying the most expensive. Purple was great.

I love Good Start, because it looks most like milk and has relatively no offensive odor. Scoops may be a little larger than other brands, but this was the easiest to digest for my kids. It was easy.

Don't forget to sign up for valuable money saving checks! When Ben was little, I found coupon trading bulletin boards. That's where I traded all my Similac & Enfamil checks for more Good Start. It saved me so much money!
...
