kpersaud says "Delicious but unhealthy" about Zone Perfect Chocolate Mint All-Natural Nutrition Bars

I usually hate mint but this was delicious. When I have these bars as a lunch, I look for it all day. It is like eating a candy bar for lunch but it holds you up all day with all the protein in it. Even though it sounds perfect, it is actually really unhealthy. There are lots of things in it that you really should not be eating. I do not eat these everyday for lunch even though they are so yummy because it has a ton of soy in it and excessive soy can actually cause a hormonal imbalance. Even though I can eat this in place of lunch, I do not do it often because it is just not worth all the health risks involved with doing it regularly. Also, this stuff is insanely expensive. The bars are really small and does not actually fill your stomach just gives off the impression that your not hungry. I buy them for almost two dollars a bar and at that price you might as well just buy a regular lunch. Its cheaper and healthier.
...

kpersaud says "Temporary firming cream" about Lumene Firming Eye Cream

This doesn't actually work as a firming cream. When I put it on in the morning, I thought it worked. I do not have that much have too much sagging under my eye but I did some difference in the sagging througout the day. However, once I washed my face by the end of the day, all the sagging came right back out. It was merely a temporary cream used to hold back the sagging. there is absolutely no long lasting effect. You can use this stuff for a month and not see any actual results. I picked it up and used it because it was really cheap at the pharmacy. You can use this more like makeup than like cream. Just like make up, the effects wash off with warm water. I wouldn't say the product was terrible because it did kind of work and for three dollars I guess I should not have had really high expectations anyway. Also, this container is open mouth and you have to put your hands in it. The cream goes bad quickly this way and it helps bacteria grow
...

kpersaud says "I would buy it for the brush not the mascara" about Chanel Exceptionnel De Chanel Mascara

I got Exceptional de Chanel in the mail from Allure Magazine for free. I was so excited but I realized soon enough that even though it was a big name, the mascara itself wasn't that great. If not the same it was possibly worse than the ones that I pick up at my local pharmacy. On the flip side of this, the brush is absolutely amazing. It is the best piece of cosmetic technology that I own. The brush does it all. It can curl, extend, and separate your lashes all in one swipe. When this mascara is done, I do not intend to buy this product again but I am not throwing this brush out. The brush is a real keeper. I would recomend buying this once and keeping the brush, it is totally worth the department store price. A plus about the mascara was that it didn't run throughout the day. My usual mascara ends up in all of my fine lines by the end of day but this one only runs when I take a shower. Its nice to have a makeup that doesn't make you look worse by the end of the day.
...

kpersaud says "Good, non greasy makeup" about Cover Girl TruBlend Whipped Foundation

I have really oily skin and usually end up using oil blots to remove the grease but the CoverGirl Whipped foundation is so light and natural that it doesn't clog your pores and cause greasy skin. Also, my skin changes color so much between the seasons and it is great to have the TruBlend. I can use one foundation for all of the seasons. Also, it doesn't rub off on everything. My old foundation would rub off on my clothes, on my phone, everything. This stays pretty much where it is supposed to be. I am kind of worried because in an open mouth jar which is a sanitary concern, its makes it spoil faster, and helps bacteria grow. However, the flip side of this is its easier to the foundation out. It is the liquid that comes in a jar that you need to keep upside down to the foundation out. When I don't feeling wearing make up all I put on is foundation. I have horrible skin and I just don't want people seeing it and many people have complemented me on how much better my skin has gotten better....
...

kpersaud says "Colgate University: Affordable and High Quality" about Colgate University

In high school I was all about the academics but once I got to applying to colleges, I realized I couldn't pick schools based soley on their price but on its price too. I received an amazing financial aid package from Colgate. When I saw it for the first time, I knew no other school would beat it. I could go to college for almost free. But with the economic downturn, our income changed significantly and they were willing to work with me. They are on top of everything and extremely organized. Some colleges I applied lost my social security card and some lost my file all together but not Colgate. I have gotten responses to my email in like twenty minutes sometimes. Once, I called the financial aid office and the woman who answered the phone immediatley recognized me and was like right you were the one that needed such and such. Colgate has great academics, people, and service. Even though it is private, it worked out to be cheaper than state universities after all the aid that they provided....
...

kpersaud says "Everything you could possibly want but a little tempermental" about Blackberry - Storm Cell Phone

The Blackberry Storm comes with everything that you could want on a phone plus more. There are 3 options of the types of keyboards that you can use. It is REALLY your phone. There is no detail on that phone that you cannot personalize. And, you can update everything on a computer. When you turn the phone, the screen turns with you. It has a full touchscreen. Everything is fabulous on the phone but sometimes it can be tempermental. For example, sometimes I turn the phone and the phone takes a couple seconds to catch up and turn the screen. Also, when I go to pick up calls, I will press the answer button but the phone takes a couple seconds to actually pick up. Can be tricky but it is insanely useful. I have used my phone as a GPS several times to get directions and maps or help other people when they are lost. It will list and provide a map of what you should do but if you want the phone to orally give you direction, you will need to pay for that part though. Plus, I think it looks great...
...
