komodokd says "Wii Resort Sports is Awesome" about wii - Nintendo Wii Resort

<p>This game is great as a one player game and for group gaming. It has a bunch of games from the original Wii sports, but Nintendo made it better. For example, bowling is still there, but now there is a game called 100 pin bowling where , you guessed it, you have 100 pins instead of 10. Traditional golf is back too, but now they added frisbee golf too. There are some new additions too like sword fighting and archery. Sword fighting involves swinging the controler in swift movements. It's one of the best games in the package. Archery felt realistic since that involves pulling one part of the controller back while aiming with the other part. Rowing is one of the more physical games in the package. I found that it was difficult to get the Mii to row on the side that you wanted it to row on. I think the position you are in relative to the sensor may have something to do with it. The game comes with one new sensitivity attachment. If you want to play with multiple players...</p>...

komodokd says "The New Type of Gaming" about Nintendo - Wii

<p>The last console I had was a PS2. I decided to get a Wii since it was completely different and it is! Wii is a lot more physical than your average console. There's usually some sort of shaking involved, pointing or balancing. The sensor is small, sleek and powerful. I had no problem finding a spot for it or getting the remotes to respond with it. The games that involve sports are quite accurate and are fun. Recently an attachment has come out that adds sensitivity to the controler. As of right now the resort sports game is the only one that requires the use of it, but I can't wait to see what games will have that in the future. The Miis that you create are great since you can customize it enough so that it resembles you. Plus you can have your Mii "travel" to another Wii console. All you need to do is exchange your wii number with the console where you want your wii to go to. The Nitendo channel on the Wii is great to keep up with all of the new developments and...</p>...

komodokd says "Penguins Singing and Dancing" about Happy Feet

Great movie for kids. Plenty of musical selections that are great to listen to. Inspiring story about a penguin that can dance up a storm, but can't sing a note on pitch. Robin Williams does an excellect job of providing comedic relief. I found it funny how the different types of animals had different accents. ...

komodokd says "Action, Adenture & Potential World Destruction" about Angels and Demons

A catastrophic bomb has been stolen and hidden in the Vatican! It's up to Robert Langdon to find it before it explodes by doing what he does best, solving more riddles. This book comes before the DaVinci Code. So you will like this if you like the DaVinci Code. I like Angels more than DaVinci because it has more action and finding a bomb that will destroy the Vatican and parts of Italy seems more pertinent than protecting the lineage of Christ....

komodokd says "Fun, smart show." about How I Met Your Mother

Best sitcom on TV! Characters are smart, but spontaneous. Many people can relate to the situations that Ted, Robin, Lilly, Marshall &amp; Barney get into. The most entertaining character is Barney who is always wearing some type of suit! He also has other quirks such as over-use of the word "legendary" and a habit of telling everyone to suit up. Another thing that I love about this show is that it shows the highlights and the flaws of each character.<br/><br/>It's the third season now and we still haven't met the mother! ...

komodokd says "High quality gaming in your hands." about Sony PlayStation - Portable (PSP) Console

This is great for entertainment for when you have a long trip. The screen is large so eyestrain is not a big deal. Games are top quality in terms of graphics, controls and sound. Can be used to access the internet at a Wi-Fi spot. It takes a little bit of effort to get used to the browser/controls while surfing the internet, but it is sufficient since this is mainly a gaming device. Firmware upgrades are available every few months. The latest one makes it easier to navigate through videos. It also lets you listen to music while looking at pictures....

komodokd says "Music, videos & more in a compact package!" about Samsung MP3 Player - YP-T9J

Player is small and compact, but has a large screen for it's size. The screen is bigger than the iPod nano (1st and 2nd generation) and equivalent to the size of the new iPod nano (3rd generation). Buttons are simple and not clumsy.<br/><br/>Software is easy to use. Basically drag and drop. Has plenty of equalization modes including a stage setting that makes it sound like you're in a concert hall.<br/><br/>It does everything: music, video, games, radio, voice/radio recording, text viewing....
