kmw343 says "Best school in the nation!!!!" about The University of Georgia

I am biased since i grew up on UGA, but it is a great school for the quality of education, price, standard of excellence and atmosphere. I graduated in 2005 and then worked for the university for a year because i loved it so much. Athens is a great town, with tons to do, and the school just adds to the southern hospitality. There are negatives, like it being a big school, so sometimes it is hard to get into a class, but you always get it eventually, even if you have to put it off a semester (the registration process gives priority to those with the most hours), it's not as diverse as one would like, there are a lot of Atlanta kids, so out of staters and southern GA folk are a need, and the class sizes can be big, but only for those classes that everyone has to take, like history, psychology, etc, so those aren't that bad. THe campus is big, with North Campus bordered by downtown, which has a great music and bar scene at night, with a fun atmosphere for shopping and hanging out......

kmw343 says "Fiber one is #1!" about General Mills - Fiber One Oats & Chocolate Chewy Bars

I got these because of a recommendation from a magazine and i'm glad i did! These bars are great, filling, satisfy any sweet tooth but has fiber and other nutrients to make it a guilt-free indulgence :-)

The only negative is that i wish more bars came in the box, because i'm already out! 5 bars come in each box and the price for them is affordable. THe good thing about this product is that you can take it on the go and even though it has chocolate on the bar, it's not messy.
...

kmw343 says "favorite beer" about Blue Moon Belgian Style White/Wheat ale

The thing i love most about Blue Moon is that they mix it up. In addition to standard Blue Moon, they come out with a seasonal version as well, so over the course of the year there are 4 more varieties. It's great because in the fall, there's a touch of pumpkin and cider flavoring, in the summer, a touch of honey, and so on. It's nice because it matches the seasons and there's always the original to go back to if you need it. Blue Moon is light, refreshing and different from other beers by the taste and flavor that is composed to brew it. I highly recommend this beer!...

kmw343 says "IPOD review" about Apple - iPod Video White (30 GB) Media Player

The interesting thing about this IPOD is that while it plays videos, TV shows, music and has tons of storage, it doesn't have the capability to have radio stations playing, which a lot of MP3s have. Also, over time, the battery life becomes shorter and shorter, which becomes a hassle because i feel like i have to charge it all the time versus it lasting for days/hours on end. Overall, the ease of use along with the basic needs of an MP3 player are met, but there are some kinks to still work out. Also, working out with it can be difficult because it has broken before while running and had to get it replaced, which is a pain too! I like it overall but wish that Apple would come out with a longer lasting, better product....

kmw343 says "great discovery! " about Psychology Today Magazine

This magazine is wonderful and by far my favorite! With the title Psychology Today, it may seem uninteresting to those who aren't psych majors or in the field, but it is user friendly, easy to read, applies everyday situations that everyone can relate too. It gives great tips on everything from health, work, relationships(friendships, boyfriend/girlfriend, relatives, co-workers, etc) and it has a wealth of information on every page. In magazines there's usually a section or an article that i won't be interested in reading, but everything in this magazine is applicable to people who just want to read interesting material and learn more about people. There's not a lot of psych jargon and it's not a theoretical 'let's analyze Freud' kind of magazine. I wish there were more issues, but i'll take as many as they'll give me, 'cause this one is a keeper!...

kmw343 says "Health-my favorite fitness magazine!" about Health Magazine

I picked up this magazine randomly one day at the store and i just loved it! I thought the material was really informative, not too overwhelming, focused on fitness but also other areas of your life, such as eating, stressors, relationships, etc. It is a great magazine for the money, has tons of random tips, advice and great articles written by people who know their stuff! I will be getting a subscription to this magazine for a long time! It's a great break from the other health magazines out there because there are real women, not celebrities to promote it, which i find as refreshing....
