klkasoff says "No more nasal nasties" about Bebe Sounds Bebe sounds Nasal Clear Battery Operated Nasal Aspirator

Bebe Sounds Nasal Clear Battery Operated Nasal Aspirator is a god-send. We absolutely love this handheld, battery-operated device. With the push of a button, it plays twelve tunes to distract your little one. With the push of another button, a light suction occurs. When you hold the tip to your child's nose, all the mucus and boogers are sucked into a chamber. Bebe Sounds Nasal Clear Battery Operated Nasal Aspirator is quick, easy, and safe. It's quick and easy because unlike other aspirators, you press down a button rather than constantly squeeze a bulb. It's also easy because the tunes distract your child. It's safe because it has a gentle suction and you're not ramming it up your child's nose; you simply hold it at the opening. The product can be disassembled so you can rinse the pieces clean in warm soapy water. It comes with two different tip types and a convenient storage bag so you don't lose the pieces. We use this product for our three-week newborn and two-year...
...

klkasoff says "I felt my bouncy baby" about Bebe Sounds Prenatal Monitor

When my younger sister found out I was pregnant with my first child, she lent us her Bebe Sounds Prenatal Monitor. At first I was really anxious to give it a try because I was nervous that I would not hear anything. However, we decided there was nothing to lose, considering we did not have to pay anything. To our surprise, we could hear a faint heartbeat of our littlte one. Next, we tried out the headphones and as soon as we put on a CD of classical tunes, the headphones were kicked right off my belly. It was an amazing sight and feeling. We weren't sure if that meant our little one was kicking for joy or disliked the classical tunes but now att age two, she listens to all genres of music, including classical so i'm sure it was kicks of joy. The Bebe Sounds Prenatal Monitor is a really neat item that is worth a try if you are expecting your first child. It is something one could purchase and pass along to friends and family so that they too can enjoy this simple pleasure...
...

klkasoff says "Pampers prevent pee in her pants!!!" about Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive Newborn Diapers

Now that we have a newborn, we can't thank Pampers Swaddlers New Baby size Newborn enough. These diapers are oh-so-gentle on our newborn infants skin. They come in various sizes (so far we're still using newborn). They have a neat "wet-diaper" indicator that turns from yellow to green when the diaper is the slightest bit wet. The stripe goes all the way from the front to back so you don't have to remove the whole diaper to see if it needs changing; just take a quick peek at the convenient color indicator. These diapers are breathable which help prevent diaper rash. These diapers also have the scooped umbilical cord notch so that your baby's nub isnt irritated while you wait a week or two for it to fall off. Pampers also has a points program "Gifts to Grow" which gives you a unique code to put in your account (you must register for free, online). When you accummulate points, you can donate them to UNICEF or pick out toys, giftcards, or shutterfly photo products. We love...
...

klkasoff says "No to tears, no to tangles, yes to curls on my toddler" about Johnson & Johnson No more tangles shampoo + conditioner for curly hair

Johnson and Johnson's Shampoo + Conditioner for Curly Hair can be found in use during our daily bath routine. My toddler has outgrown the effectiveness of baby shampoo but can take advantage of the gentleness of this product. The multi-purpose formula (shampoo and conditioner in one) saves money because we are getting two products for the price of one. (We haven't tried the store-brands but I'm sure they work just as well, for those on a strict budget.) It also saves time because you don't have to wash out the shampoo then apply the conditioner, it's all together. We had previously tried the standard shampoo and conditioners but because her hair is so curly, we needed something more individualized to her hair type needs. We especially like the fact that its "no more tears and no more tangles." If your child has curly hair, please try Johnson and Johnson's Shampoo + Conditioner for Curly Hair!
...

klkasoff says "Two kids in tow, stroll on" about Joovy Caboose Ultralight

When my sister heard I was having a second child, she purchased a stroller more suitable to her needs, she passed on her Joovy Ride On Tandem Stroller. My two year old loves to stand on the back (or sit when her legs get tired) while her 3 week old sister is carried by the front infant "sling-like" portion on the front. My two year old loves that the straps can go just around her waist or she can have shoulder straps, and its up to her because both are secure ways to keep her in when shes seated. She can also sit in the front part of the stroller and we can safely wedge the infant carseat in the back, sideways. My two year old requests stroller rides every night. The stroller easily folds up and fits in the trunk. It is a little bit bulky and because I am smaller-framed, I sometimes find it hard to steer. When my sister owned this stroller, we purchased an accessory that hung on the handle bar that held sippy cups, car keys, and other small items. She found this to be...
...

klkasoff says "From head to toe know baby is clean with Johnson and Johnson" about Johnson & Johnson Head-to-Toe Baby Wash

Johnson & Johnson's Head-to-toe body wash is all you need to keep your baby clean. I received a large bottle at my baby shower and as soon as my daughter's umbilical cord came off, she has taken a bath every single day since (she will be two at the end of this month). The bottle lasted until she was 18 months. You can purchase this product in trial size (which we use for obvious reasons: travel) up to the economy large size (which seems to last forever). The larger bottle has a pump which makes it convenient because you don't have to worry about dropping a large bottle on your child while attempting to pour the product. It is relatively inexpensive. It smells so yummy, "clean as a baby!" Johnson and Johnson's Head-to-toe body wash is also tear free. This product also works as a shampoo. So, you don't need to spend extra on a seperate product. You can find this at any pharmacy, local grocery store, Target, Walmart, and Babies R Us.
...

klkasoff says "Wii Need a Workout!" about Nintendo Wii Fit

When my husband purchased the Nintendo Wii, I didn't have much interest because I figured it would be just another gaming console to collect dust. Well, after a few days, I was hooked. There are so many games available and you definitely don't just sit around playing games. It is interactive to the fullest extent. It was actually quite exhausting. Then, the Wii Fit came out with the balance board and "I just had to have it!" After months of searching in Pennsylvania, we had to resort to my sister in North Carolina. She picked one up for my birthday and we can't stop playing it. I was a little worried because I am pregnant but you can go at your own pace. The only unfortunate feature (or lack of one) is that it doesn't give me the option of noting that I am pregnant so when I do my weigh-ins and gradually gain weight, the computer system thinks I'm gaining from not working out enough. I will definitely continue my weekly workouts that were at one point daily. ...
...

klkasoff says "Daddy won't be embarrassed by Babybjorn Baby Carrier" about Babybjorn Original Baby Carrier

Babybjorn Original Baby Carrier was one of the many products we added to our baby registry at Babies R Us. Of course there are some absolute must-haves and we weren't sure if we really needed this type of carrier. Let's just say I'm thrilled someone decided to purchase this for us! My husband is quite skeptical of baby products and at first was uneasy. After strapping him in and adding our baby daughter, he was hooked. Not only could he be close to her and have more of a bonding experience, but he could get "work" done around the house. Some of my favorite photos of my husband and daughter include the Babybjorn Carrier. He managed to cook and clean with baby in tow. This carrier was easy on the back and chest. It was sturdy and comfy to wear. We definitely reccommend this baby carrier for first time moms (and dads). You won't be embarrassed to carry your child around and you'll look stylish, too! I am looking forward to unpacking the baby accessories we have stored...
...

My husband, daughter, and I eat out about once a weekend. We typically go for really local and tend to have sushi, a lot but we had a giftcard for Caraba's Italian Grill so we decided to check it out. It was about 15 minutes from our area which isn't far at all.We did call ahead seating which is a must when you have a young toddler. It was a little dark when we entered but we were greeted by friendly staff. The wait was not long at all. It was non-smoking which is another must in my book. We sat in a booth but there is the option for tables. We were offered a highchair or booster seat. Our daughter was given a kid's menu and some crayons. The waitress was friendly and upon being seated, we were given free freshly baked, just-out-of-the-oven bread and dipping oil (prepared at the table). We started off with the calamari which was absolutely amazing. We usually order calamari as an appetizer but this could have easily sufficed as a main course. It came with marinara...
...

klkasoff says "Enfamil Easy Eating" about Enfamil Lipil Formula with Iron

When it was time to start buying formula for my infant, there were so many choices available I wasn't sure where to begin. I had received free samples from Enfamil and a few others but for some reason in the back of my mind, I thought I remembered hearing good things about Enfamil, so I decided to try this brand first. I had also heard that one shouldn't switch your infant's formula around unless absolutely necessary. I started off with Enfamil Lipils, recommended by doctors and parents alike. I actually never had to switch to another brand. This brand was gentle on my baby's stomach and if purchased by the caseload, it comes out cheaper than buying a single can. From past experience of baby-sitting as a teenager, I had remembered that formula leaves awful stains on clothing. To my surprise this brand did not leave stains, for the most part. As a first time mom, I was very impressed. With baby number two on the way, I plan to nurse, as I did with baby number one (until...
...

klkasoff says "My clothes are shrinking but not anymore with Old Navy Maternity" about Old Navy Maternity Jeans

All of a sudden my clothes were shrinking. Okay, well maybe my belly was getting bigger and bigger. I was pregnant and it was time to start thinking about maternity wear. I headed to Old Navy and to my surprise, they were having a sale on their maternity wear. Just my luck, I found two pairs of Maternity Stretch Jeans and a pair of Maternity Stretch Jeans Capris. I absolutely love them. Usually, I only buy shirts and accessories from there because the pants don't even fit right. Fortunately, the maternity clothes were so comfortable and inexpensive (expecially since they were on sale). The jeans look like regular fitting jeans but have a stretch band along the waist so they fit just right around the ever-growing pregnant belly. After my daughter was born, I still wore the pants. At first it was because I had to but then I just didn't want to give up the comfort. Finally, I had to pack them away because they were looking way to loose on me. Now, two years later,...
...

Flinstones Gummies Multivitamin is the way to go if you give your child their daily vitamins. My daughter was prescribed vitamin drops when she was an infant and would cringe at the sight of the syringe. I don't blame her, they smelled horrible. As soon as she started cutting teeth, I switched to a presciption chewable. Then, I clipped a coupon for Flinstones vitamins and found them on sale at Walmart. She loves them, although she probably thinks they're candy, I remind her "just one vitamin a day!" She gets to choose from a variety of flavors and colors in the bottle and they last for two months, it's a 60 count bottle. I'll admit, I tasted one and they are good. (The bottle actually gives dosage for children and adults!) I'm pretty sure there were other sizes available but this size was the best deal for your money. I have managed to save money because they work out cheaper than the prescription and I don't have to go through the hassle of calling into the pharmacy...
...

I was set on breastfeeding which I managed to do untli my daughter was 5 months. At this point she had weened herself. However, at three months it was time to start bottle feeding as I had troube producing enough from the pump and my work schedule did not realistically allow for adequate breastfeeding. The times we spend together I would nurse and at school she would get formula. This was a difficult journey as she was not too keen on the idea of a bottle. I tried many different priced and styled bottles from dollar store brand to very high end, preemie nipples to slanted tips. Finally, I found the Breastflow by The Early Years. She was hooked and I'm a little nervous to admit still at 23 months drinking from her Breastflows (only at sleepy times though, now)!

There are two sizes, 5 and 9 ounces. The nipple is a unique shape and it is actually made up of two nipples, one inserted within the other. This gives baby control of the amount that is released and replicates...
...
