kingkong4 says "Great vehicle, but sold to the public with problems!!!!" about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee

We bought this vehicle used with 80,000 miles on it. It looks new inside and out, It drives great and has all the options that I love to have in a luxury vehicle. Unfortunately the AC/ heat system is malfunctioning, the transmission pan rusted and started leaking out the transmission oil, and the driver's seat will not heat. I did some web searches on these problems and found that they are common for the Grand Cherokees. I've contacted Chrysler/Jeep and they said that they were sorry and since the vehicle is out of warranty there is nothing that they can do! I also found out that these are common problems that are fixed at the dealerships. The new transmission pan and new oil and filters was over $100.00 and to fix the AC/heat system will be over $1,000.00.

It's a great vehicle, but I wish the company would be more caring for the customers!
...

kingkong4 says "This is like sleeping on a balloon." about Sleep Number Queen Bed

People under 6' will probably like this mattress. My wife loves it, but I hate it. I feel like I'm sleeping in a hammock. My feet are higer than my head and because of my height, my pillow and my head are resting partially on the foam frame. Sleeping on this is like sleeping on a poorly filled waterbed. Don't like it, don't like it, don't like it. I replaced my side with memory foam. Now my body has good support, but my head and feet have to rest on that cheap liner foam....

kingkong4 says "My wife loves it, I hate it!!!!!!" about Sleep Number Bed - Select Comfort

We've gone through waterbeds, pillow tops, and such. My wife and I decided that she and I had different needs for a mattres. She needed firm and I loved soft. So we got the sleep by number. She loves it I hate it. I've tried different settings and I'm either feeling I'm in a hammock or on a bouncy balloon. I'm also disappointed to see that our mattresses have only one air chamber in them. If it had multiple chambers maybe the comfort level would be better and my butt wouldn't put my feet higher than my head. I've taken my bladder out and put in memory foam. Now I've realized that the sleep area is smaller than a conventional mattress. The worst money I've spent. This bed is not good for people over 5'10". ...

kingkong4 says "Good action movie, but weak on the dialogue." about Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I'm a big fan of Ford and Indiana Jones movies. Though the film had lots of action and eye candy, George Lucus needs to go back to writer's school. His dialogues were weak and boring. On top of that Speilberg seamed to let Ford do what he wanted with his character rather than direct him. I found Indiana Jones old and tired and not very convincing. Did Ford have the flu like he did in the other movie?? I felt Sean Connery did a better job playing an older Indiana Jones type than Ford.

I'm sure those who are too young to remember the excitement of the first Indiana Jones flics will give this film 2 thumbs up. I will give it just 1.
...

kingkong4 says "Travelers who can't find their way easily will love these" about Garmin - StreetPilot c330

The Garmin C330 is my first GPS and it has come in handy over and over. I love how easy it is to use. My wife loves it as she gets lost easily. I use it primarily on long trips, to find a targeted location for my work, and I even have used it on my motorcycle trips. There has only been 2 times where it has given me wrong info, but I was aware as to where I was at and was able to make my own decision as to which way to go.
...

kingkong4 says "This front load washes my clothes better than my old top load." about Frigidaire Washer - Affinity Front Load

I didn't think that a front load washer would do such a great job in washing cloths. Not only does it get my clothes cleaner, but it uses less water! Top load washers belong in a museum. I've noticed that my clothes come out cleaner and brighter. I love that it uses less water. ...
