killabyte says "Great for Adults Too!" about Disneyland

Disneyland isn't just for kids, although for those of us who have a lot of nostalgic feelings about it, we sure feel like kids.

There are a lot of new adult-friendly rides at Disneyland's California Adventure, and we found most of the rides in Disneyland to also be fun for us as adults.

Because the two are technically two separate parks, and the least expensive passes are one day, one park passes, you'll pay extra to be able to visit both sides. If you're only there for one day, a one day, one park pass should be more than enough to keep you busy, it'd be difficult to get to both parks in one day if you're going for the first time....

killabyte says "Most fun my kids have had with ANY game" about Cranium Hullabaloo

We have two daughters, 4 and 5, and they love this game more than anything. We also got it out when we had two 8 year olds over, and they all had a blast. The Mom of one of the 8 year olds later told me she'd purchased it because they liked it so much.

In Hullabaloo, you place about 12-15 Cranium Pads on the floor, all with different shapes, colors and designs. The "announcer box" type thing tells the kids which Cranium Pads to move to "Everyone hop to a Yellow Cranium Pad" etc.

It's a great change of pace from the regular board games....

killabyte says "A great game community for 6-12 year olds" about Webkinz.com

We bought our two daughters a Webkinz stuffed animal (which of course then gives you the code you need to get online at Webkinz.com and play the games and take care of your online "Webkinz".

Once you create your account online, you're able to take care of this virtual webkinz pet, giving it a room, decorating the room, buying clothes, food, treats, etc.

There are some simple games to play, but they were too advanced for my 4 and 5 year olds (they couldn't read the instructions for any of them, and some of them were word or letter games) but they did have fun on the ones they could play.

We learned of Webkinz from my sister, and she actually plays the games more than my nephew does. I found some games, like Quizzy's Word Challenge, to be as much fun as any other adult game I've played.

If your kid likes animals, ponies, dogs, etc., this is a chance for them to have a virtual pet that can keep them entertained, that they can care for, etc.

...
