kaymich says "A little confusing for the First Class Traveller" about Thai Airways

I could not fault the service of Thai staff. They are ever willing to please and this is reflected in their First Loung in Bankok where pre flight massages and a staff ratio of 3 to 1 is typical. — They served all First class iconic wines and foods however I am a little perplexed by the serving Caviar after a main course of a Thai style curry??! and I suspect the choice of Dom Perignon for the flight had more to do with what was available than any thought process. — The only Pyjamas that I was offerred were too big and a pastel mint colour which was hardly comfortbale for a middle aged man.....especially when you sit in a purple coloured cabin. — The main concern was that despite having seat 1A the seat wazs not a fully reclining bed and I have experienced better in Business with other airlines. — Perhaps the plane I was on was an old plane called in at last minute because it couldn't have been one of their flag ship ones. — The staff could...

kaymich says "Quite possibly in the lowest 10%of First cabins in the air." about American Airlines

I flew American Airlines not by choice but because they were the only One World airline that had satisfactory conections and flight schedules to USA from the United Kingdonm on the day I needed to travel. — I rarely fly with any American Airlines because the promises often overshadow the truth with respect to reality. — The cabin was old and tired, the menu 'very-airline' and the wine list ordinary with the odd safe bet. — The lounge was far from First. — Overall the experience was more Premium Economy or lower scale Business rather than a true First Class Expereince- this may sound harsh but the Charter market is so competive that it is now getting to be more economical to get a group of friends together and fly privately than get poor offerings from this American (and in fairness all USA international carriers to date). — Singapore Airlines is a favourite for Star Alliance travellers and Cathay is always at the top of the list for One World followed by...

kaymich says "Compared to a latex mattress it is difficult to change to spring" about Sealy Posturepedic Mattress

I am a person who likes the main hotel chain's matresses and found this mattress to be somewhat too 'fluffy' for me and would appreciate a Latex covered top or matress better. — I would recommend clients who like a soft mattress to consider this quality made product but for those after a firm offering to consider another. —...
