kayleighsmom529 says "I love my Mac! " about Apple MacBook Notebook

I have owned my Mac now for a little over a year, and absolutely love it. I purchased it after my other laptop broke (with Windows) and decided to try a Mac. I take courses online and it is great to have the laptop with me and ready to go. It did take a while to get used to the difference between a PC and the Mac, but it was fairly simple to figure out. This is my first experience with Mac (or anything Apple for that matter) and would definitely recommend them to others.
...

kayleighsmom529 says "Definitely Worth The Money - Would purchase the DC14 again!" about Dyson DC14 Vacuum

So, I went through and read a ton of reviews on Dyson vacuums. Some good, some bad. I finally decided to go to a store and look over the product myself since I needed to replace my current vacuum. I ended up at Sears where a great salesperson was patient with all my questions and helped me decide.

I went in thinking I wanted the DC25, but saw this one on special and asked a ton of questions. The one I purchased came with the low-reach tool and the multi-angle tool as bonuses. I like that the beater bar does not spin when the vacuum is in upright position (something I did not know until the salesperson was explaining the features). She also mentioned that very few are returned to the store, which is always a good sign.

With the chance of sounding redundant, I vacuumed my house this morning before leaving to go shopping. I couldn't wait to get home and vacuum with the Dyson to see if some of the reviews were correct about it finding more dirt and hair. Well, after vacuuming my house again...
...

kayleighsmom529 says "If you have another option, take it and run" about Hughes Net

I have been a Hughesnet customer for 3 1/2 years. I continue using their service because there is no other option where I live. I had dial up with I first moved into our home, but when I started taking classes online, I had to have something that moved faster. Little did I know (and it wasn't explained to me) that I would not be able to download the materials needed for class without hitting the FAP (Fair Access Policy). I also am unable to download computer and virus protection updates, because the daily limit is only 250MB and by the time I do school work and download updates, I've exceeded the amount allowed and my internet is slowed to the point you can't use it (it's pretty much off). For $60 a month, it is a complete ripoff that you can't even complete "normal" activities online. Once you hit the FAP, your internet is not usuable for about 24 hours (sometimes longer). I can't count the number of times I have to reboot the modem because it randomly stops working. I also can't count...
...

kayleighsmom529 says "Best Choice for My Associate's in Accounting" about University of Phoenix - Axia College AA program

I decided to attend Axia College of University of Phoenix after attending several other colleges. I finally finished my last classes last week for my Associate's in Accounting. The course load is heavy, but your education is really what you put into it. I never felt like I was getting a sub par education and had to work my butt off to maintain my 3.5 grade point average. There were a couple instructors that were not necessarily helpful, but that is not unique to University of Phoenix. You can find bad instructors every where. I feel that I learned a lot and received a great education. I will be starting their Bachelor's program for accounting in May 09 and look forward to obtaining that.

One thing to remember is that a lot of people are quick to write many negative reviews online. Some reviews I have read mentioned the work load was too heavy for them. There were many nights I was up late reading and reviewing course work so that I knew I had it down. Time management is the most important...
...
