      <description>&lt;p&gt;I&#160;have Doberman Pinschers, and was feeding my dogs the expensive higher priced brands and it was costing me a fortune.&#160; So, I decided I would experiment, for the sake of my wallet, with a lower priced dog food that a family member swore by.&#160; My dogs did eat it but without much gusto and they dropped condition rapidly!&#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In a panic, I researched what makes a quality&#160;pet food, which I should have done before changing.&#160; I started reading labels on all the pet food bags.&#160;&#160;Most brands were quickly dismissed due to the number one ingredient being a non-meat.&#160; I found Maxximum Nutrition and compared it nutritionally to my expensive brand and was very surprised.&#160; So I thought I would give it a shot.&#160; The dogs loved it!&#160; They are back to their previous condition and energy level.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;My only problem with Maxximum Nutrition is that I haven't found larger bags of the food yet.&#160; If they could market it in 40 lbs or more bags it would make my life much easier.&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
