karynlouise says "Community Conscious Organization" about Chick Fil-A - Chula Vista, CA

This is one of the first places I could eat out after I had gastric bypass because they have soup and fruit. It's the only place my Southern friend can get real sweet tea. They make great chicken salad. When I sent out a bunch of donation request letters for a silent auction at my son's school, they were the first to respond, and with more than just coupons. They sent me stuffed cows, the founders autographed book, and coupons for free sandwiches. That was pretty awesome. They do lots of good works for children across the country. They're not ashamed of their faith, and encourage families to go to church or at least spend time focusing on each other by staying closed on Sunday....

karynlouise says "Great food and Good people" about Daphne's Greek Cafe - San Diego, CA

I've always liked Daphne's for their food. Then I took my Girl Scouts there for this behind the scenes thing. It was only $3. They got a tour, some history of the Greek mythology about Daphne, a badge, a full meal, and coupons for free kids meals. Then I dida fundraiser for my son's school there. It was so awesome. They gave the school 10% of their sales for the day. No flyers required. Now they keep offering opportunities for our school like giving us tickets to Aztec football games to use as prizes and gift cards for opportunity drawings. They are really good people.
...

karynlouise says "Real Spanish Food" about Costa Brava - Pacific Beach, CA

I was an exchange student in Spain. I think it's funny how Mexican rice is labeled "Spanish" rice. Costa Brava has authentic Spanish cuisine, though. The people there are actually from Spain. If you talk to them about your favorite Spanish cuisine, they can even personalize it for you. They're very nice and appreciate the conversation with someone who appreciates them and their culture....

karynlouise says "Vista sucks" about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition Full Version OEM for PC

Windows Vista is so terrible. I hooked three different printers up to it, different brands and all. I got the patches. The first time I thought that my printer had gone bad. The second time I figured it was Vista. The third time, I got a printer that said it was Vista capable. All three of them had one of the colors stop functioning, and no longer worked when I hooked them back up to my laptop that was still on XP. The still act like their printing, but even with brand new print cartridges, whichever one color was disabled does not come out any more.

Vista also sucks because it is not user friendly. It will not play any CDs or DVDs, but it doesn't even recognize that they're there. You can't just go to the start menu and tell it to run what's in the disk drive.
...
