kaestu says "Perfect foundation for that barely their look." about Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

As a self-proclaimed beauty junkie, I have tried it all when it comes to foundation. Drugstore brands, department store brands, and everything in between. This is my absolute favorite foundation. It is my go-to foundation for weekends and summer especially because it is lightweight, and has a naturally slightly dewey finish. It is very natural looking for those days that I don't want to look made up, but I still need to even out my skintone. — This is a tinted moisturizer so the color match does not have to be perfect...it matches a lot of skintones. It goes on smoothly and is creamy. It can also be layered if you need more coverage. And it contains sunscreen which is vital for your skin every day. — The only downside of this product is that it is kind of spendy, about $40 right now. In comparison to other department store brand foundations, it is kind of average, but a lot more than $10 drugstore...

kaestu says "The mother ship of housewares!" about IKEA - Portland, OR

We just got an IKEA store and let me tell you.....there is something for everyone. And that something is going to be cheaper at IKEA than anywhere else. IKEA is a mega store of housewares and furniture. You could put together the entire inside of a house together just from IKEA alone, from the floors to the artwork, from the faucets to the spoons. — IKEA is a self-service store in which you pretty much have to help yourself. You pick up bigger items at the end of your shopping experience and take them home and put them together at home. I find directions for these items to be easy to understand and everything is included. However, if you buy a small item to hang, such as a coat rack, they don't come with the hardware so you have to buy the screws elsewhere which is kind of annoying. — The prices at IKEA cannot be beat, anywhere, especially for the quality. Ya, the place is busy, items can be out of stock or hard to find, and...

kaestu says "The ONLY site I trust to give me all the beauty info. I need!" about makeup alley

This is the best website for beauty information on the web or anywhere for that matter. A forum where makeup lovers (or simply those looking for advice) can come and share their tips, advice, colors, etc. — The best part of the site is the product review section where one can find reviews on everything beauty, from disposable razors to expensive night cream. And these are honest reviews from consumers just like you and me. With as much money as beauty costs these days, I will rarely try a new item without consulting the reviews on this site. — Need to find that perfect color or a lipstick with just the right amount of shine? These makeup addicts can tell you what you need! It's amazing. When I first joined the site, I knew very little about beauty. I never imagined that I would be able to tell others about a product that would be perfect for them or post a picture of a "face" I had done. — Careful though, this site can...
