jxrandy says "A user friendly phone with perks" about Panasonic - (KX-TG1032S) Phone

My husband bought this phone/answering machine with 3 handsets about a month ago. My first impression was that it was easy to figure out, and the perks that come in the handsets are nice. I screen ALL of my calls and the messages being left come over each handset. The phonebook is sweet as well. You put in your numbers and hit "send to the other handsets" or just keep them on the handset you put them on. It's like having a personalized phonelist on each phone. You can use 2 of the phones at the same time to talk to a third party, which will come in handy over the holidays when we're talking to friends and family. The answering machine itself is nothing fancy, it has the bare minimum. There are only 2 down falls of this phone set-up, for me. The volume doesn't go up very much. I prefer a phone that I can turn up so that I can hear all of the words spoken, not just most of them. And, we're day sleepers, and there's no way to turn off/down just 1...

jxrandy says "Kongs have been useless for me and mine" about Kong Dog Toy

Over the past 40 years I've had my share of dogs. Everything from Cairns to Great Danes & everything in between. Several years ago I bought a kong for my new rescue dog, as she was teething on anything that didn't move, and a few moving objects as well. She sniffed it & walked away. I tried throwing it, peanut butter inside, you name it. It was a bomb. So I had that kong around my house collecting dust for years. Not 1 of my dogs, over the years, played with it. I moved & lost it. Along came another avid chewer. Another kong purchased. I have now had the 2nd kong for 8 years, and not 1 tooth mark on it. So I can say that I have had roughly 30 dogs, of all sizes & ages, turn their noses up at this toy. It's been a waste of time & money for me. —...

jxrandy says "Joel is a God send" about Joel Osteen

I used to watch Joel's dad, John Osteen, many years ago. I found him late one night flipping through the channels. I LOVED John. He was one of the most powerful ministers I had ever seen. Unfortunately my work schedule changed & I wasn't able to watch him any longer. A few years ago I started the search for him again, and I was saddened to find that he had died. I saw Joel Osteen's show & figured he was the son. I watched him for about 10 minutes & was disappointed that he wasn't like his dad, so I didn't watch again until this past year. Now, I am a devout believer in God, but not in church. I believe in, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I don't believe that religon should be stuffed down your throat, especially since there are so many types of faith. So about a year ago I decided to give Joel's show 1 more look. I watched him for 30 minutes. I was amazed at how far he'd come since the first time I saw him. When you watch him you almost get the feeling...

jxrandy says "Helping people & animals, for free, in 90 seconds a day." about The hunger site

This site is awesome. It literally takes 60-90 seconds a day to help, and it's totally FREE! Go to TheHungerSite.com. As you go across the top of this site you'll be able to click on 6 tabs. Hunger, Breast Cancer, Child Health, Literacy, Rainforest, Animal Rescue. Click on each tab, when they load push the "Click here to give" box. It goes to a confimation page & you click on the next tab above. I go straight across the tabs, in order, and I feel GREAT everyday, that I have helped in so many ways. The ONLY thing it cost me was 90 seconds of my day. And an extra added perk to this site is, in each of the areas you'll find a store. When you buy things from there you donate extra to the site that you picked. There are very unusual items to be found. And several times a year they offer different deals on shipping. This is a site that I am extremely proud to...

jxrandy says "A fun, free, and possibly profitable spot for games." about IWON

I have used iwon as my home page for many years. They just started a gaming area that has progressive jackpots up to $3K. There are many types of games to choose from, you just have to figure out a way to get around in the gaming area. The games are FREE to play. As you play you get tokens that you can put into several sweepstakes areas. The rules on the games aren't very clear, so you have to figure out what to do on some of the games. BUT, this is a fun site to play at. It has many thinking games, and many just fun games. It's worth a look. If I'm not playing on Pogo I'm at iwon. Between the 2 sites I stay very busy. Happy gaming and WIN, WIN,...

jxrandy says "Pogoholic, just one of thousands" about Pogo.com

Pogo is more addicting than morphine, but a lot less costly. I have gotten several friends and family addicted to this site. So depending on the day, I either get cussed at or praised by them. I have been a player for about 7 years now. I started playing when it was completely free. It took me about a year to get a membership after it was first started. Someone gave me a free membership trial and I was hooked! I am one of the precious few who have won a jackpot on Pogo. I won when it was free, but not since becoming a member. This site offers many types of games, and many levels of play, from beginner to expert, depending on the game. I play my old time favorites and have been enticed by new games. This site has a game for everyone. So go...play...enjoy...and don't tell your friends, family, and pets it was me who turned you on to this. I already get enough grief...LOL!!! I just have one warning to the wise: Occasionally you'll run into an idiot in the chat area. The "MUTE a player"...

jxrandy says "Was the best, but now it's getting predictable" about Grey's Anatomy

I am still an avid watcher, for now, but I'm starting to lose interest. The story line has become predictable, repeating/boring, and almost insulting to my intelligence. I am a nurse, so I know what actually happens in a hospital, and the routines that go on. Some of the story lines almost go to the absurd. Until this season the reactions of the staff were appropriate. Now the writers are going for relationship drama over real occurances. I am almost heart sick that this once fabulous drama has become just another evening soap opera. The writers were right on in the first seasons, so what has changed? That level of writing made Grey's the #1 show. So why are they switching up? I have stopped watching several shows for this very reason. Keep it smart, REAL, and intertaining! In the real world Dr. McSteamy would continue on in his Cassanova ways. But Dr. McDreamy would be snatched up in a heart beat by a deserving woman, and he would go that route...
