jvillano says "Soothing to the gums. Just don't step on it!! " about The First Years Massaging Action Teether

After looking high and low for this teether (several Toys R Us' were out) I ventured into a Rite Aid while on vacation and found it. My husband thought I was kidding when I said I heard great things about it.

I eagerly gave it to my then 9 month old son and he loved it. From then on, when he'd teethe, I'd give it to him and he'd be fine.

He's 2 now and I find him playing with it once in a while. So it's a pretty long lasting teether as well. I wouldn't know how to change the batteries in it if I had too.

We'll be getting another one for DS#2. I just wished they came in different colors.

Oh, don't step on it. It will scare the bajeezus out of you.

...

jvillano says "Eh, it's OK" about Fisher Price Soothiing Motions Glider

Luckily, I was able to get this piece of baby gear used. I would not have paid the $80 price tag for it. It's BORING! For one thing, my husband thought it was only for girls since it was such a bright yellow. LOL And we had our second son this September.

This piece works great as a small cradle although it is low to the ground. It does not bounce. It will only move using batteries, which can be draining on the pocket. It does a back and forth motion and the seat is able to swivel around. So baby can go side to side, angled side to side, back and forth, etc.

The music is annoying and when it get tired, it makes creaking noises.

Needless to say, it's heading to a consignment shop shortly.

...

jvillano says "It's worth the price tag! " about Fisher Price Baby Papasan Cradle Swing

This has got to be the best swing out on the market. It's very pretty to have out, plus it's gender neutral. I am using this swing with my second son and he loves it just as much as my first son did. It can lay, almost completely flat, and rock side to side or forward and backward. We actually thought of having boy #2 sleep in it vs. a crib/bassinet. The mirror above the seat is very entertaining to my babies. I've had it since 2005 and it's still going strong today.

It does drain batteries fairly quickly. I conserve them by not having the birds/butterflies spin around and I turn the music OFF.

...

jvillano says "The best stroller if your kids are 2 years apart." about Phil and Ted's Sport Double Strollers

When I became pregnant with my 2nd son I began researching double strollers. All were either too long or hard to steer. I came across the Phil & Ted and fell in love with the idea of not committing to a double stroller. By the time I'd have boy #2, boy #1 was already 2 years old and wanted to walk more than ride in his stroller. So, this stroller was perfect. When placed in the newborn position, the baby sways with the motion of the stroller. And with the toddler seat attached up top, my first son has a better view since he's higher up than in a traditional single stroller.

Cons, no storage space in the bottom basket when in the newborn position. No cup holders. Hard to lift up when folded. I'm always afraid of getting my finger caught in the hinges! The instructions for assembly are hard to read- there are no explananations, just pictures!

Pros, LOTS of compliments!! Sporty look, great manueverability!!
...
