justjoshinya1890 says "Great reviever from the beginners to the experts" about Onkyo TX-SR304 5.1 Channels Receiver

I had just started my first home theater system and bought 2 infinity primus 150 speakers and an infinity ps8 subwoofer. With the 150's only having a 100watt max power rating i needed a a/v reciever that had alot of goodies, a decent power rating that wouldnt fry my speakers, so all of that led me to the onky TX-SR304. This reciever set me back $180 at circuit city, very cheap for a 5.1 reciever (plus a low end onkyo can match most higher end recievers in sound quality due to their sound filters). This reciever has 65 watts per channel so it wasnt going to burn my speakers up and should be able to power most speakers. The reciever has pro logic 2 and much more that some of the higher end sony's and stuff didnt have. The manual can get complicated at times, but is pretty straight foward on most sections. Set up is a breeze, and will organize your wires so its not a jumbled mess. It also has a plug for a powered subwoofer which is alway a big plus. Very good reciever, especially for...
...

justjoshinya1890 says "Great for any system" about Infinity - Primus 150 Bookshelf Speakers

I am currently using these speakers as my fronts and am very pleased with them, i have had them for a year and a half and have not found any flaws with them exept that they are not bassy, but my infinty ps8 sub makes up for that. They are built very solidly, all wood and aluminum. The sound quality is very clear and crisp, even when played at higher volumes. The tweeter is what really makes this speaker incredible, especially when watching movies. You hear tons of sound that no bose or yamaha speaker can offer, and you almost do not need a center because the dialog from the speaker is impecable.. u can hear every word. Although more expensive than a home theater in a box... these speakers are a must for any built it yourself system. I did not give this a 8 or 9 due to the lack of bass, and that there is better speakers on the market... u just have to pay alot more $$$... i bought mine for 50 dollars each at circuit city after rebates....

justjoshinya1890 says "Creative zen vision W kicks ipods @$$" about Creative - Zen Vision W 30 GB MP3 Player

I've had my zen vision w for over a year now and it goes everywhere i go. This is definiatly the best player ever. The screen on this thing is amazing, bright and colorful and crystal clear. The audio is great too, unless its coming out of the built in speaker, but that doesnt matter. The removable battery is a plus, because when it runs out i just switch it with another. The buttons are easy to use, and anyone can figure them out. The brushed metal doesnt scratch easy so thats a plus. Also it has an AUX out so you can hook it up to your tv and surround sound system (if you have them). However this thing is bulky, but not too heavy. The screen is a fingerprint magnet, and video convertion takes a while if you get them from a dvd. It also can only take the usb cable supplied with it.

Over all this is a great player, and anyone who buys an ipod is not very wise. Plus 30gb is plenty. I have 10 movies, all over 2 hours, and almost a thousand songs at normal play speed and quality... and......
