jurassictraveler says "Takes your money but won't pay claims" about Liberty Mutual

I had a lot of business with Liberty.

Business insurance, workers comp, homeowners.

Had 1 claim in 5 years - a broken pipe flooded our basement. It was covered and they were supposed to pay replacement cost.

Fought us at every turn. Eventually we had to hire an attorney (and pay his fees, of course) to collect. Even then wound up settling for less than we were entitled to or would have waited years more to collect anything.
...

jurassictraveler says "great sound but a little bulky" about Bose - QuietComfort 2 Consumer Headphones

Sounds great and real comfortable.

Expensive but good things usually are.

Wish they were they size of the non-noise cancelling Bose headphones. The difference in bulkiness is significant. While I like the noise cancelling feature, I usually travel with the other because of size.

Only other negative I have found is the lack of auto off. I always am burning out the battery...

...

jurassictraveler says "See it on cable for free" about Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

Was expecting more.

Really like Ali G -- think that series is hilariious.

This has its moments, but it seems like a half hour show stretched out to make a full length movie. Lots of mediocrity that should have been edited and replaced with better bits.

Don't pay for it, wait till it comes on cable and see for yourself...
...

jurassictraveler says "love all Starbucks coffee" about Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Coffee

Starbucks has ruined me for everyday cheap coffee.

Usually not a fan of flavored but this one's real good! Not sweet (unless you make it that way) but rich and complex.

Reminds me of Fall in New England. Holidays. Snow. Good cheer,

Gotta have my Starbucks!
...

jurassictraveler says "Gives me a headache. Go for the black -- or better." about Johnnie Walker Red Label Scotch

Goes down well but always gives me a headache after drinking. Chemical byproducts of fermentation can have this effect. The better, longer aged, more expensive varieties (i.e. JW Black, Blue) obviously do not have these byproducts as I have no negative effects from imbibing these.
...
