jrblount24 says "Procede with caution" about Adderall XR

My daughet was on this medication for almost a year. Over time, she became increasingly aggressive, argumentative, and mean. I thought these were all symptoms of her ADD, but when I talked to some other moms, I decided to take her off the medication and see what happened. The first day, my daughter was so cheerful and happy. She actually told me she liked that day better than the days she took her medicine. She was a completely different child, the sweet girl I remembered. Just beware of these side effects and know it could be the medication and not your child....

jrblount24 says "Miracle" about Daytrana Patch

You mothers out there with children who suffer from ADD know how hard finding an effective medication can be. After struggling with adverse affects from a medication my child was on, the doctor suggested we give the patches a try. It was wonderful! This medication was just enough to help my daughter stay alert without turning her into the "zombie" that you see with other medications. She gets along with her siblings much better and her grades are just fine. She has no problems with her appetite and she sleeps very well at night. The patches can leave some residue that comes off easily with a little lotion....

jrblount24 says "I read it in one day!" about The Da Vinci Code

I picked this book up before the movie was out, to see what all the hype was about. The moment I started, I couldn't put the book down! I loved the suspense and trying to figure out what was going to happen next. While the movie was disappointing, it was fun to see how the events happened in someone else's eyes. This book is great and I will probably read it several more times....

jrblount24 says "Waste of Time" about Fitness Quest Tony Little's Gazelle Freestyle Elite

The first time I tried this I stayed on it about 5 minutes before my ankles started to really hurt. I gave up. The next day I was determined to stick with it and although my ankles were hurting, I stayed on for an hour before I actually broke a sweat. My husband and my daughter both got on the machine and complained about the same soreness in the ankles and commented on how it didnt really feel as though they were working out. This might be okay for someone who is EXTREMELY out of shape, but if you are active at all, this is not the machine for you....

jrblount24 says "Family friendly Christmas Flick" about Fred Clause

This is a movie with a VERY toned down Vince Vaughn but I really liked it. Being the big sap that I am, I even got teary at one point. The plot had a couple of small holes, but overall this was a very cute movie and I wish I would have taken my kids to see it. I just really didnt know what to expect from Vince, but this is very family friendly....
