jpratt says "worth the money" about KitchenAid Stand Mixer - Classic

oh wow, my husband bought this for my several years ago and i really did not want it, could not think of a good reason to get it, besides it was very expensive!! i am so happy with the kitchen aid!! this has become one of my favorite kitchen appliances, i use it all the time, i do not even have a regular hand mixer in my house anymore. i have some of the attachments for the kitchen aid, i have the meat grinder which has come in handy when processing my husband venisonand when making home made egg rolls, i also have the pasta attachment, works well but i do not use often. it handles great on cookie dough and gentle on other foods. it came with a bread hook, wisk and mixing paddle. it has a few different speeds. it's bowl is fairly big and i can usually double a cookie dough recipe in it.

this product is well worth it a great quality product and great investment, it is available in just about any color now so keep that in mind when you decide to buy your own kitchen aid!
...

jpratt says "amazing" about Pampers Cruisers Diapers

there are not very many diapers that please me, the pampers brand is one that i really like, i mostly like the cruisers, it seems like the fit the baby's bottom perfectly. i have not had any problems with the pampers cruisers leaking and they keep the baby dry. i have tried many different diapers with my 3 children, and at the crawling stage these diapers seem to move with you child. i will be buying pampers cruisers again for kiddie number four!!!

these diapers are not too costly, they are worth spending the little extra on and would rather buy these than any other off brand or huggies diaper any-day!! when the kids reach the stage where they can start wearing the pampers cruisers i will not buy any other brand.

i am hoping that this review will help any new parent coose the pampers cruisers brand, so lets review

pros-keeps baby dry, fits to baby's bottom, no leaking, preferred by moms

cons- get less diapers for the amount of money you pay compared to other brands
...

jpratt says "winner" about Palytex playtex nursers Baby Bottle

i have used these bottle with three of my four children, and i love them so much! one of the reason i love them is that they use the disposible liners, this may seem like a waste and costly, but washing bottles in the dishwasher crap usually gets caught in them, that is why i like the liners. also there is hardly any way for air to get into the bottle, you burp the bottle before feeding and then there is no air there for no air in babies tummy.

there are cons to this bottle, like the liners expensive, (you can always buy the off brand), but each bag is already to use and clean, after nursing my kids for a few months after the baby is born, and getting the babies off the bottle by age 1 i feel that the few months of buying the liners that are costly are well worth it. you still have to wash the nipples and rings but you have to do that with other bottles too!.

i have enjoyed using the playtex nursers with my children, and still feel that they are well worth the money for the liners....
...

jpratt says "hours of fun" about Fisher Price Little People Noah's Ark

wow! the fisher price little people noah's ark, have provided my children of hours of fun! my son got this for christmas several years ago, he played with the ark for years! and we have passed it on to his little sister who has played wtih it for years as well, she is almost 5 and still loves to play with the fisher price little people noah's ark. we bought some of the extra animals to go with it and it provides hours of fun. there must be something about the fisher price little people and animals that these toddlers really enjoy. all fisher price little people are interchangable with each other and all the little people can be used with different sets, there have been times that my whole living room is filled with a little people world. with the noah's ark you can put the animals in the ark, open the ark, and wheel the ark around, comes with animal(in sets of two, of course) noah and his wife. hope you find this review helpful.
...

jpratt says "The thickest out there" about Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes

Huggies natural care wet wipes are my favorite wet wipes out there. i have 4 kids my newest is a newborn. i have used all sorts of wet wipes throughout the 11 years of buying baby suppleis. as a penny pincher & coupon user, i have tried to cut corners and always end up going back huggies natural care wet wipes. compared to other brands they are thicker than any other wet wipe, you'll notice that if you have a thinner wet wipe you'll use more or your fingers wil rip through the wipe and you get poo all over your fingers. who likes poo on their fingers??? not me!! Also they do not hurt my babies skin, sometimes your newborn will get a really bad diaper rash because their skin is so sensitive, not with the huggies natural care wet wipes, pay the extra money (compared to the no name brand) and buy the huggies wet wipes, remember to sign up at their web site for money saving coupons!!
...

jpratt says "worth the money" about Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive Newborn Diapers

pampers swaddlers sensitive newborn diapers, as a parent of 3 others i know that newborn babies have sensitive skin and these diapers are worth the extra money to keep that babies skin soft and dry. pampers swaddlers sensitive newborn diapers have the notch cut for the umbilical cord opening. pampers diapers are a brand that i prefer myself, it seems like the diapers fit the babies bottom better than some of the other leading brand diapers. i have never had a problem with pampers swaddlers sensitive diapers leaking. that is why i would recommend these diapers to any parent. yes they are a bit pricer that other diapers, but with those money saving coupons it is well worth the extra money. i have not had any problems with diaper rash, as most new borns do. i first stumbled upon these diapers when i found a coupon for them in the paper, thought i would give them a try. i am glad that i did try these pampers swaddlers sensitive diapers.
...

the brother xl-5340, i have had this machine for about 9 years or so, so it is an older machine, but still working for me(it came with a 25 year warrenty). this machine has 21 differnt stitches, 40 stitch functions, 1-step auto size button holder, F.a.s.t. needle threader, Quilting freatures included & auto bobbin winder, light, on and off switch & foot peddle. it is built solid and gets the job done, i am impressed with the sewing machine, use it often an would recommend it to other, especially to new sewers or someone who wants a simple machine. i am not a crafty person, or a good sewer in fact i often say "yes i sew, but just straight lines", lately i have experiment with the machine and have been using it more often, so this brother machine is well worth the money and i would recommend the machine to any new sewer or experienced sewer. i hope you find this review helpful for all you sewers!!!
...

jpratt says "gotta have it" about Rival Crock Pot

The rival crock pot, i use this product every few months, (i'm not much of a crock pot cooker) i really like it. it has a nice and big removelable pot, with a stainless steel outside. it has a warm feature which is really nice, and a high and low feature. sometimes the high setting is too high, and cooks things too fast(i do not like to use the high because i am afraid i will burn the food) i always have felt that the high feature cooks things way too fast and do not want to burn things so do not use it. it has a nice clear cover which makes it easy to see "what's cooking" although my handle broke on it only after a few times of use. The rival crock pot is well worth the money paid, and i feel the best feature on this crock pot is the removable pot, being able to remove the pot to bring to the table or being ale to wash the pot with out worring about getting the cord wet is wonderful!!
...

jpratt says "one great camera" about Sony - DCR SR82 Camcorder

Well sony has out done themselves again.. One of my most trusted companies, I would probably by anything from sony. The Sony - DCR SR82 Camcorder is an awesome camcorder. I just love this Sony - DCR SR82 Camcorder. I am very pleased with the quality of the camcorder. We have had this camera for a while now and the whole family enjoys the ease of the camcorder. This camcorder is not only lightweight but very remarkable and has such an easy operation. The Sony - DCR SR82 Camcorder is such a compact little camera. I love how it fits snug in your hands, it is small, not all big and bulkly like some of those other camcorders.

One of the features I like the most about the Sony - DCR SR82 Camcorder is the ease of transferring images to a computer. I can put the videos right on my computer then they are there easily handy and ready to put on a DVD. The quality of the images are remarkable. I really like the docking station and the rechargeable battery.

We bought this Sony - DVP-CX985V DVD Player system several years ago. I was not too sure about having a system that held 400 cds or dvds. It is pretty cool, it holds 400 cds or dvds. I thought that there would never be a need to buy a system that holds that may cds or dvds. Well I was wrong, keeping all of the dvds in the dvd player has great advantages. You see I have small children and they always want to handle the dvds. Well this is a great way not to scratch you dvds. No scratched dvds then they do not skip. You also do not have to worry about where you are going to store all those movies. I took all may cases and put them in a box in my basement. They are now out of the way. Another great advantage is that you cds or dvds do not get lost. They are all right there ready to watch. The remote looks a bit confusing but once you figure out how to use the darn thing you have it made. Although there are still buttons that I do not know what they are for. Just think 400 cd or dvds at the...
...

jpratt says "awesome!" about Nintendo Wii Fit

Nintendo has out done themselves again, we purchased the Wii balance board shortly after we bout our Wii. I feel that it was a bit expensive $100 for the board and the game. But it is well worth the money. The balance board takes 4 AA batteries. Sometimes you use the wii remote with it and other times you do not need the remote. If you look at it like this, you get the board and a ton of games. Everyone in the family uses the balance board. And it is easy to use! It is an easy and fun way to start a new work out routine. My in-laws also bought this product and they play it as well, so you see it is for people of all ages and sizes. We really like to interact with each other and try to beat each other scores. The game has a calendar in it to keeps track of how often you use the game and keeps track of your weight and progress, you can do a wii fitness everyday to see what you wii fit age is. Then you can just play the games. By playing most of the games it will help you focus and basically...
...

jpratt says "awesome" about Nintendo - Wii Console

What an awesome product. I will start out giving this product five stars. Nintendo has really out done themselves on this one. The Nintendo wii comes complete with everything you will need to get started and play right away. It comes with the proper cords, controller and a game. It has easy hook up to the TV. It is also small and compact. It does not take up much room at all. The graphs are pretty cool too. Basically it is well worth the money that you pay for the product. Our family usually hold a bowling tournament for fun.

Pros are than anyone of any age can play - Including my 4 year old daughter to my 80 year old grandma. Most of the games get you up off the couch and doing interactive things. You can play the new Wii games and the Nintendo game cube games work in this system as well. We have used our system for both. It also has a ton of games that you can buy for the system. The games range from action, adventure, interactive, skilled and many more. If you have a high speed internet...
...

I received the irobot vacuum a few years ago for Christmas along with a irobot scooba. The irobot was very expensive. I saw the product on TV's home shopping network and just had to have it. I felt that this would be a great product to use in my home on a daily basis. I have 3 children who spend a lot of time making messes in my living room by playing , eating snacks and doing crafts. It can become very messy in that room. . I like to be able to block off the living room and let the irobot vacuum go and do its job. It cleans up the mess just like that. There are times when I will set it before I leave to run errands and when I come back the vacuuming is done for me. To me that right there is priceless. The irobot vacuum has done all the work for me. I really like that. It does take about a half hour or so for the irobot vacuum to do its job, so vacuuming with a real vacuum would be a lot faster. It does not have any trouble getting the corners or next to the walls. My irobot vacuum has...
...

I received the irobot scooba for Christmas a few years back, not this model but one like it, and I thought that I would enjoyed the convince of being able to let the irobot scooba go and mop the floor while I did something else. Mopping floors is not a job that I like doing in fact I think that mopping floors is like the worst job ever!

Because of the design of my kitchen , it is almost an L shaped kitchen, I had to block of certain areas so that the irobot scooba would stay in one area of the kitchen. I tried using the invisible wall that they offer but there were times that it did not work. The product worked good at first, but it did not get the ground in dirt on the floor. After I used it for a few months, the battery would not to hold a charge. I could only let the irobot scooba go for about a half hour before the battery went dead. Then I would have to recharge the battery for several hours and start the process over again. This became very frustrating . By the time I finished using...
...
