jplevinson says "Incredibly good musicianship, very exciting Roots Rock." about BBX - Iron Bee

I am blown away by these guys every time I listen to it -- AND ITS FREE!!! Download all the songs at: nz dot tpt dot edu dot ee/music/Bitty,Davidovitch/BBX/BBX%20-%20Iron%20Bee/

I haven't been so excited over a new music discovery in a long time. I'm almost as excited as when I first started hearing Stevie Ray Vaughn, and I absolutely love his music. This is American roots rock interpreted by Estonians. Cab Calloway's "Minnie the Moocher" is rocked up and bluesified into a completely new feel. Several others sound like interpretations of 1960's British interpreters of American blues and rockabilly. And some sounds like nothing I've heard before, but even those have a comfortably familiar roots rock feel. Something like the way Danny Gatton could make things familiar and totally alien at the same time.

If you are interested enough, go up to the parent website (http://nz dot tpt dot edu dot ee) and look around. You'll find some information about 3 of the guys in BBX, but mainly its about...
...

jplevinson says "Seemed like a quality product, but durability has been a problem" about Eemax Tankless Electric Water Heater

EeMax makes a large line of electric tankless (instant) water heaters. They are primarily meant for heating domestic hot water and are sized to meet demands ranging from 1 bathroom to whole house residential and up to huge industrial sized units. I chose a medium sized one that was specified as suitable for accepting pre-heated incoming water. This type is intended to be a booster or have the heated water re-circulating through it, e.g. to maintain the temperature in a hot tub. I chose this type because I wanted to use it as an electric boiler in my home's heating sytem, replacing the ancient and inefficient coal and oil fired one already here.

I was happy with the customer service I received before the sale (I had a lot of questions). I was also happy with the price, design, apparent quality, ease of installation and the amount of hot water the unit delivered initially.

However, in the first week, 1 of the 2 heating units failed. Several phone calls to their customer service guided...
...

jplevinson says "Outstanding Customer Service ans good products." about D'addario Strings

I had a fantastic experience a few years ago with D'Addario. I had bought a single bass string without checking the length and it turned out to be too long for the Danelectro six-string bass I wanted to use it on (the main part of it was too big around to pull through the tuning post hole). I sent it to the company with an explanation that I was experimenting with different guages and tunings on a short-scale baritone/six-string. I asked if they would replace it with one meant for the Jerry Jones/Danelectro style.
I figured it was a long shot that they would even reply, but they astounded me by sending me 3 single strings AND 3 free full sets of variouis gauges. Customer sevice like that has to be rewarded, so I'm buying virtually all my strings from D'Addario from now on.
...

jplevinson says "You gotta figure Fender would only market good strings." about Fender Super Bullets 3250L Light Electric Guitar Strings

I've mostly used Fender strings on all my guitars and basses. I have many so I don't bother to change strings very often. I've always been happy with the price, sound and durability of Fender strings. Though I've always found it odd that so many of their sets have bass strings that are really too light.

I would like to say that I will always buy Fender strings, but I had a fantastic experience a few years ago with D'Addario. I had bought a single bass string without checking the length and it turned out to be too long for the Danelectro six-string bass I wanted to use it on (the main part of it was too big around to pull through the tuning post hole).
