joninokc007 says "A Taste of the Best of Middle East Cuisine, without the air travel" about Zam Zam Restaurant - Warr Acres, OK

Zam Zam is a jewel of a niche restaurant/bakery which has a variety of fun Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. — It is designed to be a place where you can eat dinner, and even smoke a Middle Eastern Hooka or waterpipe while waiting for your food. Even though it is a smoking restaurant, the smells of scented and fruity tobacco are not annoying, since the place is well vented, and it gives the restaurant a very exotic quality. — The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean, and adorned with a variety of Middle eastern decoration, including rugs, drapes, Hookas of various types and sizes and cookware. — The food is the closest to home made food that you will find in a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant and is prepared by the mother and father who own this place. Their son works as the waiter. — The menu includes a variety of great meat dishes, including Gyros meat dinners, Kefta ( a type of spiced hamburger), chicken...

joninokc007 says "Paradise on a Plate" about Cheeseburgers in Paradise - Oklahoma City, OK

This restaurant is a wonderful find. — It has a good and attentive waitstaff, a well done tropical restaurant decoration that is not distracting but very fun, with palms and seaside art that gives the flavor of Hawaii without being tacky looking. The food menu is a good tasting mix of specialty burgers, ribs, crab burgers, salads, and healthy menu items. — My personal favorite is the sliders, which are mini-burgers with top quality beef burgers, tropical sauces, burger toppings and onions. — You can get them in an order of six, with either french fries or sweet potato fries, or in a sampler platter that includes three burgers, a small side of tasty chicken strips, and a mini-slab of ribs that was magical in flavor and "melt in your mouth" tender. I found that you can get full size cheeseburger with a variety of fixings, as well as a vegetarian burger that is one of the best in Oklahoma City, and a great...

joninokc007 says "Heavenly Roast Beef, Medium or Well Done" about Lion's Choice Restaurant - Oklahoma City, OK

Lion's Choice Restaurant is one of the newest and best Roast beef sandwich shops and fast food franchises to open in Oklahoma City. It is located at 4200 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, OKC. OK 73112 and its phone number is 405-601-9583. — It had it's first outlet open on the day before Thanksgiving of this year, 2007 in the Burger King location on North Pennsylvania, just north of the 39th Expressway, just off the Pennsylvania exit. — I was stunned at the selection of healthy menu items. — There was the Roast Beef sandwich made with actual sliced beef, and not the Arby style pressed meat product which can be had red or well done, served on either a round bun or on a hoagie, with prices varied from three to four dollars. — Combos include really good fries (I substitute veggie sticks) and a drink ( I like their homemade style sweet tea) for five to seven dollars plus, depending on the size of sandwich and combo ordered. — The veggie...

joninokc007 says "GUINNESS PUTS THE BLACK IN THE BLACK AND TAN" about Guinness Stout Draught Beer

I love this brand of beer by itself as a social drink, or when having a meal of beef, or lamb. The taste of Guinness nicely complements both types of meats. — Guinness, like most British Beers, has a higher alcohol content than most beers from Oklahoma and therefore gives a quicker feeling of euphoria, without having to drink a lot of liquid. — Guinness has a nice scent and head, and the taste is superior to most of the beers that I drink. I am a fan of the mixed drink, Black & Tan, which is half Guinness and half Harp, and this drink is perfect for social events and eating in Bars and Grills. — ...

joninokc007 says "Who is your Daddy?" about Godiva Chocolatier Milk Chocolate Assortment

I BOUGHT THIS AMAZING BOX OF CHOCOLATE AT BARNES & NOBLE WITH A GIFT CERTIFICATE I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS. — THIS IS WITHOUT DOUBT THE MOST AMAZING CHOCOLATE I HAVE HAD, IN COMPARISON TO ANY BRAND ON THE MARKET. — IT CONTAINED A WONDERFUL VARIETY OF FLAVORS AND TEXTURES, AND THE SMELL WAS PLEASANTLY OVERWHELMING IN ITS INTENSITY AND JOY. — I DO NOT THINK YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET A CHOCOLATE BUZZ FROM THESE CHOCOLATES, BUT I DO NOT THINK YOU SHOULD EAT GODIVA CHOCOLATES WHILE DRIVING, SINCE THEY ARE DISTRACTINGLY GOOD. THE ONLY CHOCOLATES THAT MATCH THESE ARE THE DARK CHOCOLATE ASSORTMENT WHICH IS ALSO AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL. ...
