If traveling in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area and you are a business traveler, beware of wireless internet issues at this property. The staff member I was forced to deal with was just this side of 12 years old and very poorly trained. I will not stay at this location or another Sleep Inn. One bad experience with this brand is enough. Why make it twice.

Horrible place! Not clean, not friendly very old, and I do mean old building. The faucets drip the carpet is matted and filthy, the beds are warped and wornout. I asked for a smoking room and obviously people smoke in it, or have in the past. The wallpaper is peeling from the walls. Water stains on the curtains. Just terrible. Stay away....

Upon arriving a person was checking in but had parked their car directly in front of the doorway to the hotel making it very difficult to maneuver luggage. Because I'm an employee of a non profit institution I'm tax exempt, which sent the clerk into panic mode and started calling everyone except EMS for help. I even told her not to worry about it and charge the tax, but she was more interested in chatting on the phone about "Can you believe a guy just came in with a tax exemption certificate" and this went on for several minutes. After that exhausting and frustrating event I find my room with a very stale and odd odor, but decided not to return to the soap opera queen downstairs for a room change, I would deal with it and record it in my journal of awful places to stay and pass it along to my colleagues who may service this area as well. The hotel is older, not very well maintained, and not worth the price. The Internet is very slow and is not wireless, forcing you to move the......

Horrible peice of plastic. No pump, o r at least a decent one. It leaks, sheets won't stay on even with fasteners. Its very hot. For the price it is garbage, but hey I bought this miserable thing and put it in the trash. I promise not to buy anything by Coleman again. This company use to be good. Return policies have changed as well as committment. Customer service is non existant....
