jfishfrr says "Safety ratings can't be beat for the price." about Chevrolet Equinox - 2006

I researched this car before buying, and this is why I chose this one- good reviews from Edmunds.com, great safety ratings! Great amount of cabin room, even in the back seat. More than enough room in the back for a family of four to go on a road trip- even with the stroller, portacrib, etc. — Stock stereo is acceptable. Choice of colors we loved. I'm happy with my purchase, and I'm satisfied that my kids are safe. —...

jfishfrr says "I would not put my child in any other." about Pampers Baby Dry Diapers

I put Pampers on my daughter almost her whole first 3 years (until she was potty-trained). I will put nothing but Pampers on my son who is still in diapers. I don't care if they cost more- they do not leak as long as you're not a parent who lets your child sit around in wet or dirty diapers. — I tried other brands a couple of times on my daughter and it ended up being a waste of money because I threw them away- Luvs leak, and they gave my daughter her ONLY diaper rash. My son has never had a diaper rash, I've only used Pampers on him. — You get what you pay for. Is your baby really where you should be looking to save money?! —...

jfishfrr says "I will only use Pampers!" about Pampers Swaddlers Diapers

Having sworn by Pampers with my first child, naturally I would buy the same for my second. When my first was a baby they didn't make the Swaddlers, but I tried the free samples that came in the mail for my son. — These are soft, don't leak, whisk away moisture, and have adorable baby graphics. What can I say? They're Pampers, of course they work great! — Now that my son's a size 4 I've had to switch to Baby Dry, but I would definitely swear by these diapers- my children have NEVER had a single diaper rash while in Pampers! —...

jfishfrr says "If you're looking for a backsaver, look no further." about Combi Cosmo Stroller

Before my second child was born I went to the store and bought the infant seat/ full-sized stroller combo. The stroller was so humongous, even folded, that it took up half the storage space in my mid-sized SUV. Plus it was so heavy that I could hardly bare to lift it into the back of my car (I had back surgery shortly before becoming pregnant). — I researched lightweight and mid-sized stroller online and ended up ordering this one. A week after using this I sold my full-sized stroller! This model has a basket underneath that is on the small side, but large enough to hold a smaller diaper bag or purse. I am able to unfold this with one hand while holding my son in the other- and it folds so compactly in seconds. It's got a great carry strap- sling it right over your shoulder! If it's light enough for me to carry, trust me when I say anyone can carry it. — The only reason I left off a star- the hood has broken...

jfishfrr says "The only car seat you will need to buy!" about Britax Marathon Car Seat

When i was purchasing a car seat for my second child I immediately went for the infant seat/stroller combo- what a waste of money! My son, who was actually born a month early, was too tall for the infant seat by 4 months of age!!! — So I started researching car seats and decided to purchase this one. It was definitely a great purchase. At 4 months, in the rear-facing position he could see out the windows. Now he's 17 months, forward-facing, and he doesn't complain about being in his seat. — The seats are super comfy (I'm assuming), because they're so padded and the material is soft. This model comes in so many prints and colors, it should match any car decor. The straps are easy to adjust, and if your car is LATCH equipped it takes seconds to install. I actually move this seat back and forth between two cars almost every day. — Because this seat goes up to 65 pounds, I'm not planning on having to buy another seat...

jfishfrr says "AA or AS, or certificate for way less money!" about Suffolk County Community College

All Long Islanders know about SCCC, and it's kind of the school that people joked about. "I got into Suffolk cause I told them I have a pencil!" But lots of us knew that going there would save us a ton of money for the first two years. — If your plans involve state school, or possibly even private, consider this as a viable alternative. Most credits will transfer to SUNY schools. — They also offer some degree programs- early childhood ed, some nursing. —...
