jfeather says "Fantastic company to deal with!!" about Harlem Leather Sofa

My wife and I purchased a light brown love seat, sofa, chair, ottoman set from Harlem furniture about 3 years ago. Its held up pretty well, except one arm of the sofa. We purchased their leather protection plan with the set. About 2 weeks ago, my wife noticed that the stitching that hold the arm to the sofa was coming apart. She immediately called the plan phone number and they sent someone out 4 days later. Upon looking at the sofa, the repair person didn't think that reparing the stitching would hold up. We're now getting a brand new sofa. I used to be a Wickes Furniture customer, but never had anything but problems with them, from purchase to delivery and everythign after. I'm pleased to say that I have had no problems with Harlem, at all. I've purchased quite a few pieces of furniture from them now and I have yet to have anything other than easily resolved issues with them (and very few at that!!) I'd recommend them to anyone....

jfeather says "the price isn't worth the hassles!!" about Dish network

When my cable bill started to rise, I decided to look into other options. I decided to go with Dish Network because their initial startup costs were cheaper than DirecTV and at the time the channel lineups in comparison of the two were basically the same. While I'll admit that I still pay less with Dish Network than I was with Comcast Cable, the customer service and billing practices are almost non-existent with Dish Network. The package I signed up for is America's Top 200 with Showtime. According to the sales rep, I was supposed to be paying approximately $80-90 for the first 10 months and the go up to approximately $103 per month thereafter for the next 4 months. After that, my bill would be approximately $113 with a price guarantee for 2 years (my rate was locked in for 2 years). Around 2 months following the start of my service, my wife and I decided to build a house. I called Dish Network and asked if they had any programs to put off my service during the 6 months it would take for......

jfeather says "Not bad overall" about Delta Airlines

The fare price was a little expensive, but the service was good and I got a free coke as well. In this day and age, that qualifies for average towards the above average part of the scale. My flight was on time. I was able to book my flight on the web as well as my boarding pass. The gate attendents also changed mine and my companions seats for us so that we could sit together which lately has become a free luxury as well with air carriers. Overall I was satisifed....

jfeather says "Not worth it ..." about Spirit Airlines

If you're looking to get somewhere with absolutely no amenities and/or baggage, this airline is your best bet. If you travel frequently, don't bother. This airline brags about its cheap fares, but don't tell you in advance (unless you actually go in and read all of their fine print beforehand) that you will be charged for pretty much everything a la carte. I was shocked when I didn't see a change machine for the lavatories. You're allowed one carry-one (+plus a handbag if you're female) otherwise it's $5(on the web)/$10 (at the airport) to check your first 2 bags in and $100 for each additional bag. Definitely not the ideal air carrier for extended trips with/without family!! The flight I paid for was $35 cheaper (in total for 4 passengers) than it would have been had I flown UAL. After the baggage fees, and food/soft drink from the food court (there is no complimentary drink and/or food service with this carrier), it actually cost the same as if I'd chosen UAL. Definitely wouldn't recommend......
